I still think this could happen, cause Eubank Jr is a big name with the casuals, he has a lot of fanboys. And I bet some of them still think he could beat saunders lol

Billy Joe, and I say that without even a hint of hesitation, this time by late stoppage.

Come on, this question doesn't need debating unless you're still stuck in 2017.

Saunders wasn't even fit when he took care of that boy the first time.

In a rematch Billy would make good on his word and completely embarrass him once again.

    BJS and it’s a mismatch now...shouldn’t happen.

I honestly have to say I pick Saunders if there was a rematch

I am still a big Jr fan but the Groves fight proved a lot tbh, he needs to make both mental and technical changes. Until then I don't think he can beat a slick mover like Saunders. Tbh I think it's more mental then technical, through all the bravado he actually choked in the fight and appeared IMO scared of Groves power and sharpness.

A late Saunders stoppage is the absolute most unlikely outcome though, an early stoppage is far more likely.

Jr can come again but he did embarrass the bandwagon after that performance. I look forward to seeing his next fight and it better be at least above British level or the absolute top of British level.

Jr has to make up a lot to me and his fans, after all the smack we talked for all these years he never came close to delivering.

I watched Saunders vs Jr 1 50+ times, I have not watched Groves vs Jr again.

Unless CEJ beats someone of note, BJS shouldn’t even bother giving him a rematch. The stalling and issues they’ll have with negotiating isn’t going to do BJS any favours.

Great post, and completely fair and well reasoned assessment.

He had reason to be fearful of Groves. As soon as attempted to swarm in on Groves, he felt the first jab and right hand and wanted no part of it for the rest of the fight

It's one thing saying you will do this and that, but once in the ring it's a different story. It's all about showmanship with Jr, this is what you need to understand.

Certainty there is little doubt that he is an entertaining character and is definitely at a world level in speaking trash.

However in the ring he simply doesn't posses the tools or intelligence to hang at elite level boxing.

The one guarantee Ican promise you, is that he will make up for absolutely nothing, for you. And he isn't going to be fighting any top level opposition any time soon.

BJS schools Jnr until he and his weird dad are sitting in the dunces corner with pointy dunces hats on.

I'd actually like to see it but BJS is rightly looking for higher level fights.

I still think he has the tools to do it, but talk is cheap.

You can't teach heart, so maybe you are right.
His style/method needs a courageousness that he doesn't appear to have at the highest level.

If he had half the balls of Chudinov or even Cox for that matter then he would have beaten Groves.

The way he just accepted being clinched was appalling, any clown that can throw straight punches and clinch will be licking their lips.

Gervonta Davis vs Liam Walsh is exactly the way you should deal with an arm grabber, make them pay!!!!
