If Saunders is in tip top shape he probably UD's Lemieux. If he comes in a bit flat, he's leaving very flat. Myself, I'm cheering for Lemmy.
You saying BJ is going to be a deer in the headlights too, travelling to his opponent's backyard for the very first time?
Bute was a favourite in that fight he won the first round barely but looked scared as **** doing so and lost every second onward. Saunders hasn't impressed me yet in his career, I watched his last 3 fights. and I felt the Artur Akavov fight was a robbery as saunders must've been sick or something but kept his title. the Andy lee fight was scored a MD and the scores were spot on even with the knockdowns it was a razor close fight and I know people will give Lee credit for his quillin win but I'm not big on Lee. But, some people I trust say Saunders fights to his opponents level and does just enough to win, with the Artur Akavov fight being training issues.
I can't stand BJS. I will be rooting for Lemmy for sure. I expect BJS to win though, 8 rounds to 4 with a few dicey moments but not nearly enough for Lemieux to win.
What I am saying is that the two situations look similar. BJS seems pretty confident with this fight. He is taking the risk to fight Lemieux, in Montreal, because he sees this fight like an opportunity for bigger, money, fights (GGG and Canelo). BJS is the technician fighting a guy who is known for his KOs but had problem with elite, P4P fighters. Prior to the fight, those two situation look really similar.
