Billy Joe Saunders vs James Degale potential fight

Fine enough. Saunders is caught in the Canelo Golovkin circle jerk and DeGale needs a cash out as he is near the end

 

I guess it would take place at 168 then? And Saunders would be stripped of his WBO 160 strap in the process

 

Hope this is true. Would be a great fight if it happens.

Would have to favour The Gypsy Prince as Degale has an awful lot of hard miles on the clock. He went on a cobraesque run of seriously hard fights and made a couple of easy ones hard too. But then again, BJS is coming off all those 100% legit injuries LOLZ

 

BJS would win - he's a big MW , more skilled and better stamina than degale. Not sure it does much for BJS though.

 

Two weight world champ is a decent thing to have on your resume. Plus potentially sets up a huge Groves fight. IMO BJS would be smart to go this route instead of pissing about waiting for GGG. Most likely they fight a 3rd fight anyway.

Also, I don't see the Warren Boxing Organisation stripping BJS of his middleweight title even if he does move up.

 

Saunders schools him. Degale is a completely spent force.

 

Why? People move up without dropping belts for one off fights all the time

 

I'd rather see chunky Vs groves and see BGS matched up against winner of the Jacobs IBF fight.

 

I’m guessing it’s cause degale looks more washed up than Murray. Saundra should return that belt, done nothing with it besides dancing circles around lemieux.

 

Not if the holder kept skipping and postponing defences, and the WBO was already planning an interim fight.

 

I don't see a real reason for Saunders to even move to SMW,
he has quite a few fights at MW that would likely be more desirable.
Then again SMW is a wasteland and I don't see anyone at the
weight beating him...............maybe Uzcat gives him a little
trouble but that's it. *shrugs*

 

That fight will be a complete stinker!

 

Degale has to fight Uzcategui or I hope he gets stripped.
