If accepts step aside money then no complaints from me. Tbh I wouldn’t accept that money, the IBF don’t play it’s mandatories so he will get his shot if he wants it, plus I think Uzcategui obliterates this version of James. Degale is shopworn and a pressure fighter is his kryptonite.

Personally, I'd prefer seeing Saunders stay at MW, and attempt to unify, but if he does take this fight, it'll be a one sided domination by The Superb One, I wouldn't even rule out a TKO win for Billy Joe. But it should be a one off at SMW.

I wouldn't be surprised if Saunders got the stoppage, I think it will be pretty onesided.

Don't understand why he takes this fight. Degale is finished in most people's eyes, and therefore Saunders wouldn't get much credit if he won, even though he deserves a bucket load of it for doing so. If he's going to go to Super-Middleweight, then he should go for the jackpot, which is the winner of Groves-Smith. He wins that and he'll get an insane amount of credit from everybody, and rightfully given a place in the hall of fame if he pulls that one off. I think he falls short against Groves and Smith, simply because both guys are so much bigger than him, they are huge super-middleweights to start off with.

But yeah, I think he beats Degale in an all-out brawl. As much as both guys are skilled mobile types of fighter, I think both will want to beat the living daylights out of each other. Saunders on points for me.
