Hall was hurt to the body there. Surprised the commentators didn't pick up on it. Stopped throwing and backed off for a bit.
Billy-Joe always starts at a million miles an hour then struggles to maintain that pace. Some good body shots that round, needs to sink in a few more.
Hall hurt to the body, BJS letting hands go and is landing with regularity. Hall as he advances is to straight ahead he gets close then BJS then steps to right and pivots and catches Hall as he resets. 30-27 BJS. Hall needs to throw 2's 3's 4's. That's what his style of fighter needs to do..
"Kidology" is one of those words which is massively overused by people like Adam Smith and John Rawling. What is it with British boxing commentators, following the same old script in every fight?
I thought in the pre fight build up that Hall was well up for this as a "last chance saloon" type attitude, hes in good shape too but hes just getting outclassed here and he cant keep taking those shots
40-36 BJS. Hall does so much work to get close and by then he's tired. I think he'd be better moving head slower and using jab, jab to chest to knock BJS off balance and drive up right right hand over. Left hook to channel BJS movement, Gamble on it, Shift over front left and throw it from mid range. But so far it's BJS Fight, He's looking good at times.
