Lets say the Saunders of the Lemieux fight vs the Roberto Duran of the Hagler fight.
    Who wins this matchup?

Impossible for me to think of a fight in which I would support any fighter more than I would support Duran to beat Saunders.

Saunders is from my hometown so theoretically I should be supporting him but I'd be cheering Duran all the way.

Duran would beat a second large mark into his face.

It’s a one sided beat down.

Duran, too much for most on his day.

Billy would be too quick for Duran at this weight.
He would frustrate Duran all night. Speed is hard enough to handle in your PRIME let alone when your years past it.

I’ll go with Saunders here, I think the size, movement, and skill would be the deciding factor. Durans best win at 160 was Barkley, and he was struggling a lot with the size difference in that fight.

I have only seen little of Saunders, and I was not impressed. Looked like a club fighter to me. Any version of duran would kill him

I think Duran wins this.. The level then was better than now. Duran was good at that time, it was just that Hearns fought well. And so did Benitez. But Saunders? I mean Saunders might go the distance but he would lose a UD..
