Let's be honest- nobody expects good viewing when it's two defensive oriented southpaws squaring off. And I'd say those expectations were met.

Definitely shows the gulf between the likes of BJS and the GGG/Canelo levels. I wanted Monroe to win, but he is showing no desire or ability to do so.
Literally just read the cards now, Monroe can't come back from this. He spends the whole fight headhunting and posing. He needs to take a leaf from Ward's playbook. If you can't KO them, work the body. But instead he's fighting like a moron from r1
Monroe dancing around and threw less than 10 punches. He is doing NOTHING, he is NOT a fighter, he's merely someone taught how to box that is looking for a way out when he knows he can't win. Poor poor performance.
This fight makes me want to go to bed, forget about this fight, wake up in the morning, hear the result of GGG-Canelo and be angry at myself for going to bed and missing the fight we've been waiting ages for.

Well, there's that myth that Pep won a round without throwing a punch. Maybe Slick Willie's hoping to pull off some truly legendary stuff and win a title fight without throwing one.
