It would play out just like Trout-Charlo, only Saunders has a better chin, is bigger and hits harder. And Trout arguably won that match, if it takes place in the UK, Charlo takes his first L.

Nah I disagree Charlo is the real deal and is much better than when he fought Trout. Saunders didn't even look good against Monroe Jr and he's trash.

What evidence do we have that he's much better since he fought Trout? J-Rock won every second of that match he wasn't being dropped in. If he had a better chin, he'd have probably UD'd Charlo, and the Heiland match, no one should use that as an example of anything.

No one has ever looked good against Monroe except for GGG, and even GGG didn't look great, he beat Rosado with absolute ease, easier than Jermell did in fact, he beat Vera far more convincingly than Chavez Jr. It was a terrible style clash, two southpaw counter puncher never tend to put on scintillating classics.

He beat the crap out of your boy J rock. His jab and defense have gotten much better than when he fought Trout. He was still learning when he fought Trout.

Trout vs Charlo was too much slick for anybody to handle. It was basically, slick on slick.

Of course he did, he stopped him, but check the RBR everyone else gave J-Rock every round he didn't get dropped in, Jermall can be outboxed, and slick southpaws, like with most fighters seem to be his kryptonite, and Saunders is every bit as good as Trout. Charlo would struggle badly against Saunders, and to be honest, who knows how well he'll perform at MW, all we've seen him against was a one legged gimp, and it took him like 4 or 5 rounds to stop a sitting duck, and even that stoppage had nothing to do with Heiland actually being hurt from a punch to the head, he couldn't walk anymore.

Yeah just like GGG destroyed Canelo.. Who exactly has Charlo "destroyed" aside from J-Rock, who let's be honest, as much as I liked him, was unproven.

I don't think their is any grounds to say Charlo destroys Saunders tbh.

Never said he'd destroy Canelo. Had it 60-40, coming up to the fight, and also made a thread before the fight saying my gut says Canelo wins. This isn't a fight where I'm thinking it's 60-40. When I say destroy I mean clearly win, not knock out clean or even stop. Hope the fight gets made, we can do an avatar bet or something.

Just like there was no grounds for saying Tank would destroy Pedraza right? Got that one right.

Who did Pedraza beat on the level of Eubank Jr or Lee? Jermall is good, but he's not super slick. Watch his fight with Trout and compare his performance to Lara. Saunders style will make it hard early and I'd expect Charlo to take over in the second half of the fight when Saunders gassed. I would pick Charlo but feel Saunders is a little underrated and has a shot.

Pedraza was beating FAR better opponents than Tank. That's my point. Also Eubank and lee? LOL reallly? Who hasn't Lee been outboxed by if he didn't KO. If you avoid his right hook and don't get knocked out most top opponents beat him. How overrated is Lee seriously. He also EEKED by Eubank. Was clearly winning the first half, then ended awfully if we want to talk about Charlo's struggles with Trout.

Exactly, you'd pick Charlo. I mean Trout is better than anyone Saunders has fought, and I think he's better than Saunders, though the biggest question is how his power translates to 160. Also how is the Lara performance relevant exactly? Why don't we compare Trout's performance to Cotto? Yes Trout got schooled by Lara, Lara's style completely countered Trouts.

Both fighters were on their game that night. Yeah it was a close fight but Charlo was landing the harder shots and brutally stopped J rock who can box with speed and pop. Charlo made easy work as he should have of Heiland who's simply not in his class anyway.
