That won't happen. Jacobs is going to want $2 million minimum, which doesn't leave much for BJS, who of course deserves more than Jacobs.

Kovalev's negotiating should be taught In business 101 classes on how to get robbed six ways past Sunday.

Kovalev gave into Ward's every demand while receiving nothing in return for it. Kovalev should've stuck to his guns on the neutral location and one foreign referee, since he made himself look like a joke by conceding so much even though he is a top fighter.

That's a lot of money... anybody knows what his highest payday is? I doubt hell be able to make that against Jacobs.. Almost 99.9 percent this fight doesn't happen..Seens BJS is looking for big money and low risk until he can get his hands on GGG or Canelo

BJS got a $1 million guarantee along with a 60/40 split against Lemieux. However, since he's the only champion other than GGG at 160 and is undefeated he has a lot of leverage. I think 3 million against Jacobs and 5 million against GGG or Canelo are reasonable demands by BJS.

Hey Id be doing the same thing.. I just dont think Jacobs is the name for that sum... But I hope he gets the money.. Good for him if he does.. Also I forgot to mention.. Keep in mind Lemy is a huge attraction in Canada.. So the fight made sense and it sold because of Lemiux mainly because in reality other than us the hardcore fans not a whole lot of people know who the fk BJS is...

He's just being waggish he doesn't really mean it. I'm sure it's a jab at Jacobs for his diva like ways going into the GGG fight.

    Speaking of ''jabs''

'As Saunders jab goes, so goes Saunders, as 62.2% of his landed punches are jabs- #1 among Compubox Category Leaders & 34% higher than the CompuBox average.

Saunders just doesn't throw his jab - he lands it- 28.4%- #3 among CompuBox Category Leaders and 8.1% higher than the CompuBox average.'

    Yeah just as I thought.

    Dust your passport off, Danny

'When asked about the possibility of a meeting with Daniel Jacobs on an April date in New York, the former British, Commonwealth and European Champion was dismissive of the New York-based former WBA World title-holder despite the fact that the 30-year-old pushed Golovkin hard en route to a points loss in March.

“What does Daniel Jacobs bring to the table?” he asked. “I’m the champion. I’ve just been to Canada so why would I go to fight in New York, he should come to London. I’m 100% up for either Golovkin or Alvarez.”

“If he does fight Jacobs, it will be on our terms,” stated Frank Warren. “Billy has got the belt.”

This is exactly it. Despite being the champ, Kovalev gave ridiculous concessions and loaded dice Ward and his band of merry crooks ended up robbing him twice.

As for Jacobs, he is unfortunately president of the who needs him club, fantastic fighter, but no belt and can't bring a huge payday either. Can seee him needing to become mandatory to get a shot. If I was him I'd be calling out Golovkin for a rematch left right and centre given how close the first one was. Though obviously he's going to have to play second fiddle to the Canelo rematch.

If the fight is in England it's probably not that far off.

Ya Jacobs seems to want a home fight ,big payday and the chance to a belt but brings nothing to the table. It boggles the mind how he thinks someone holding all the cards should be dancing to his tune.

Or how when a non american fighter makes a demand certain posters think he is insane, but wilder can ask for 50-50 and its shrewd tactics.

Not only will they not fight but they do not even have the decency to not bore us to tears with their divaesque financial demands.

Hmm. Well, i guess we can all disregard that statement from him. I think we all know what he really thinks as hes giving us that line: "im all set, i want NO part of that dude. Hope my poker face was good."

    ****DISREGARD IM AN IDIOT****
