    Momma Mia!!!!
I'm so upset, in hindsight draw makes so much sense. Now both can fight AJ. Gotta tighten up

One of my friends (who knows the least about boxing) called the draw.

Ive said the sane but there will be a fight that'll wet your appetite. Some odds are too great to pass up. I made several thousand Haye-Bellew I.
But BJS level goodness gracious, couldve paid two of his kids through college with those funds

You guys have no idea about betting aren't you?

BJS got his money back as he bet on the ML so it's a 2way bet with money back if fight ends a draw.

Unfortunately, that’s true for lots of boxing bets. Either way, the thought of him not earning his money due to one scorecard brings me joy.

Are you ******ed? This is bull**** and you know a **** about betting. He placed a bet on Fury on a betting store and it was a 2 way bet with money back if the fight ends draw. So if you place 70,000 on Fury to win and the fight ended a draw he got is money back. Stop talking about thingy you know a **** about you clown. Stop embarassing and exposing yourself here as a fool.

@f1ght3rz, ok, so who will pay to those betting on a draw, then? Where will the bookmakers get that money from, I mean?
Or do they just adjust the coefficients to include a draw, in fact? Because it's not that difficult to hedge a bet like that manually — you place 70k on Fury to win and plus about 2k on a draw.

On the ML? He'll be betting in the UK I'd imagine.

There are two types of bets if it comes to the simple outcome of the fight:

2-Way and 3-Way Bets. 2-Way Bets are also called ML(Money Line). You can bet on one of the fighters to win the fight and if the fight ends as a draw you get your money back. It's also called DNB(Draw no bet) in other sports.

The 3-Way Bet is including the Draw as a possible outcome so you can bet on both fighters AND the Draw.
The picture of BJS placing the bet showed he made the bet at Ladbrokes (a betting site which has stores in the UK too) with 11/8 odds (+138 / 2.38).

If you relook the odds comparison for the fight you can clearly see it has to be the 2-Way bet at those odds he placed the bet.

Is there actually a quote from Saunders he really lost the money or only the bet he placed? You can lose a bet without losing your money. That's the point here.

Unfortunately I cannot do that because I have problems accessing their website (I guess it's UK only or something like that).

Anyway, can it be said, that a 3-way bet is a "natural" type of a bet for boxing (because a boxing match can end either as a win/draw/loss) and a 2-way bet is a "complex" bet? Is a 2-way bet (for a boxing match) a "lazy" way to bet on "if my boxer doesn't lose", e.g.?

It seems so, and/but BJS clearly wrote "Fury to win" (he didn't write "Fury not to lose"), so I'm still not convinced, sorry.

And no, I was unable to fight direct quotes from Saunders.

    1. You can look it up on several odds archive sites.
    2. No. A lot of bookmakers ONLY offering the 2-way bets. You have much more bookmakers offering only 2-way bets than bookmakers offering 3-way bets. That's a fact and can't denied.
    3. 2-way bets are the "common" type of bets for sure, not the 3-way type. It's the same thing in MMA.
    4. I do not care at all if i can convice you, i am only mentioning the facts here. In the end i do not care if BJS won, lost or void his bet as he is a POS and deserves a big minus. But it isn't a fact he lost his money without having a quote where he is saying that as he could easily had a bet on the ML with a void because of the draw.
    5. "Fury not to lose" is another type of a bet. It's "Fury or Draw". I said MONEY LINE. You put a bet on a fighter "Tyson Fury to win" and if the fight ends in a draw you get your money back. I had a huge bet on Fury to win Money Line and i got my money back after the fight but i didn't win my bet on Fury. Logical thing.
