Just in time for Christmas. Always found Miske to be a fascinating fighter. Beat a lot of very good heavies and beat a lot of them after he was already sick.

sounds like a interesting book, dont know much about him but it sounds like he was a warrior, i doubt anyone would even consider climbing through the ropes with a terminal illness like he did. will look into it for sure, thanks for posting
Just got mine in the mail :smoke Looks amazing. If you all want to know what it was like to be in the ring with guys like Harry Greb, Jack Dempsey, Jack Dillon, Fred Fulton, Tommy Gibbons, etc. then get this book! It gives you a ringside seat. Plus you will be supporting a very worthy cause- more books on the fighters we know less about like Miske, rather than the same recycled ad infinitum books on Dempsey, Johnson, Louis, Ali, etc.
