No offense to Billy Nelson but he sold his fighter out and potentially put not just his career on the line but also his LIFE.
A lot are saying this and someone who knows Lewis Ritson said Billy fleeced him although of course I can't verify that, somebody's just said that online so it may or may not be true. Billy seemed to coerce Bakole into going back out to face Hunter when he wanted to give up as well.
I just watched the replay; he didn't even have his own gloves. That was a shell of Bakole that dominated Anderson, then Billy tried to be the hero after he got knocked down. We all followed Martin on here and know how tough and resilient he is; he would have rolled over Parker had he been even 50-75 %.
I'll admit that as a Scot I sort of stuck by Billy although he gets slated by a lot of people. I'm starting to feel a bit stupid now because I'm seeing what others have said and it's made me think. I'll hold my hands up if I was wrong about the guy. The Fury sycophancy did make me wonder at that point. I would totally agree with you mate but maybe I thought too much of Bakole. But can't read that much into it given the circumstances. However he did get beat by Hunter and to be honest I can see what people mean when they say Kuzmin beat him. I'll reserve my judgement until he's had another couple of fights.
Bakole was wearing a pair of gloves borrowed from Dubois and he was also fortunate that he found a spare pair of Aussie Knickers in a promoters de luxe hotel room.
True but getting knocked over by Joey 12, Unless he's been meeting up with Conor Benn, something didn't quite add-up.
If you've barely had a wink of sleep after taking four flights as a fat slob then your punch resistance will no doubt have suffered.
And Martin can take a shot, and when was the last time Joey 12 knocked anyone out like that? He poleaxed him just like Daniel did Joshua
It was a weird shot on the top of the head, looked like it barely touched him. I don't think Joey Twelve has ever been in with a bloke who had four flights and no sleep or camp, so that would explain it. But Andy Lee, who in my opinion talks a lot of shite, will say it's the added muscle.
I think there has been a degree of hype about Martin. Billy himself told me off for offering this opinion. I don't think a fully fit Bakole would roll over a fully fit Parker. He is slow of feet, easy to hit and we don't know much about his engine. I'd not be surprised if Parker took a fit Martin into the lare rounds and stopped him. I think Bakole has a chance at winning a version of the title, I just think that he is very green, very raw and that there are levels in this game. That's not to say he won't ever improve his level, just that he's nor there yet. Man, it's only an opinion, and it doesn't seem to be a popular one, and I'm fully aware I may very well be wrong, indeed, in this case, I'd be delighted to be proven so.
Cracking up at this as well! When and where was this? What did you say to him mate? That's class. I remember Billy called somebody on twitter a baldy *******
