battle of the billys!!!! both were contenders in the ninetees,but always fell short of gaining world titles. both were also commonwealth lightweight chmaps.......schwer lost the belt to a powerfull african named joe tetteh. irwin controversially outpointed tetteh to gain the belt. i always thought these two would meet.......but it didnt happen. so who would have won??? i´d pick billy irwin by late ko.
I really liked Schwer, but he bled if you so much as breathed on him. Cuts were always the bane of his career, causing him to lose fights he should've won (and was even in the process of winning). Good skills all-round, but that was a problem. Unfortunately, I know very little about Irwin so I can't predict the winner here!
