Roscoe, Pathetic attempt at condoning his actions. If Bisping rewatched the fight he wouldn't have been raving about no lucky punch. Was outclassed outboxed and outpowered. No need to complain, doubt he'd have took the fight again
I don't feel that's what a sportsman should be doing nor do i feel UFC shows the same camaraderie that Boxing does and i think that's no good for a sport evolving. In my opinion i think Dana White should of spoken to Henderson about his in fight actions and also his after fight actions rather then focusing on Lesnar and the sponsorship situation.
Not condoning Dan just telling it as it is. Its cagefighting, I've seen it done heaps of times. I don't mind Bisping, he seems a decent bloke, same as Hendo but obvioulsy Hendo hates him. I bet Bisping hates him too now!
According to ''Hendo'' he says Micheals a ok guy but i wanted to shut him up. Hate's a strong word to be using over some needle in a reality show. Lets face it we seen far worse needle then what we saw between them.
Its supposed to be martial arts. Respect for your oponnent. Whther it has been done loads of times or not doesn't matter. It was out of order and it was wrong that he cheered the way he did afterwards, it was also wrong showing the 'compassion' he did post fight..... "Yeah I guess I knew he was out cold but that last one was to shut him up" Dana White, nice man Dan Henderson, nice man UFC, nice sport Out of curiosity does anyone know how Bisping is ? Hope he made a full recovery and a headache was the worst of his problems
Been asking people the same thing and no one knows i searched about hoping to read a few quotes from him but seen nothing. He went to hospital and had a CAT scan and that's all i heard.
You maybe right Mandanda, hate might be the wrong word but Hendo doesn't say too much but you could see he wanted to KO Bisping badly. Maybe it had more to do with 3 out of the 4 finalists in the series coming from the British Team.
Dan I agree with all that your saying. I'm just not going to crucify Hendo for it as I've seen blokes get their heads stomped on in the pride MMA. Bisping was obviously a sore point for Hendo but what he did, although cheap shot by the biggest of margins, is legal inside the cage.
Yeah don't get me wrong Bisping runs his mouth a lot although from my opinion it seems a bit of bravado and i think it's a front look at the tennis part of the series he got beat and looked a mug. If Henderson ko'd him straight and stood over him i would of went ''Props my man'' but he took it to far and to not apologize is wrong and doesn't look good on sport. I bet he did wanna knock him out and it must be a nice feeling landing flush like the ending tarnished it.
Seems he's ok anyway lads. Just found this UFC 100 may not have been the best night in Michael Bisping's career. The meeting of the two TUF season 9 coaches finally came, and "The Count" ended up out for the count at the hand of Dan Henderson. From DailyStar: I honestly dont know what happened to me out there. I will just have to accept what the organizers say in their rules about when I fight next and take it on the chin. But I do know that I have the ability to bounce right back and succeed in my aim of lifting the world title. Henderson won it fair and square and I have nothing but praise for him. I have seen people like my training partner Rampage Jackson lose fights in one or two rounds and still go on to become one of the best light-heavyweight fighters of them all, so I am not disheartened in any way.
Hendo comes across as a good fella & deep down I think he knows the last punch was out of order but it was probably more to do with heat of the moment & the atmosphere, just pumped up to the max. He doesn't come across as an *******.
:thumbsup Cheers Dan I'm glad he's well because when i saw it out of corner of my eye watching was left a bit cold by what i saw. I hope he can get back on track earn some more £££ and achieve his dream but i doubt he will but all the best to the lad.
Just read the article in full and Bisping actually went on to say "I was found wanting and i'm well aware of that" Thought that was nice that, plus no sour grapes about the cheap shot either
Yeah agreed i think Bisping's a man's man and he the type ''i wanted to knock you out but you knocked me out fair play to ya...back to drawing board for me''. Bisping may of left the octagon with his career in tatters but he sure showed the respect i expect from all fighters.
