Sorry Poly mate, but I disagree. I agree that Bisping can come across as a tool (Though he is decent lad to be honest) but whilst I would not consider him a (Even remotely) serious challenger for the 185 belt, he is certainly no "Can"! Were he to ever fight Anderson Silva, Vitor, (etc), he would (Obviously) get hammered, but he would surely put up a better show than Thales Leites (Which isn't saying much, I agree)!!! I do agree with you regarding the UFC's "U.K marketing strategy", which probably explains Dan Hardy getting a shot at GSP!!
That is how I see it too, Jimmie!! Despite being a Brit (And a fan of Bisping, for my sins, I have backed Wanderlei to beat Bisping. The weight-cut could be a significant factor, but I still think the Wanderlei who got beat off Franklin beats Bisping. Mike (imo) is simply not in that class and 4/7 Silva is (imo) a gift!
Can is a bit strong, he's not that bad. But he would not be a top of the bill type fighter unless he was useful to market to a new place for the UFC..
I'm a huge, huge Wanderlei fan. He looks somewhere inbetween an internment camp survivor and Ken Shamrock right now.. He's cut so much he has lost significant lipids in his face, and is almost hard to recognize. His style is more blaze of glory style.. So if he goes out, let it be with a bang *again*? He's still a dangerous guy, but I worry for his long term health.. He has eaten a lot of shots for an MMA fighter.
