Bisping edged the first two rounds, put Silva down in the second. Third was mostly Silva and he dropped Bisping with a knee right at the end and proceeded to act like a fudd, mounting the fence like the fight was over while the ref tried to get him down, it was a farce, 4th round was mostly Silva. 5th was even but I think the judges were so ****ed with Silva's behaviour they gave it to Bisping. Bisping was badly busted up by the knee but he was game. Silva is finished imo and should retire before he get's ktfo again.

Silva should have fought more serious, if he was more aggressive he would have won in my opinion.

Yep. Silva spent 70% of the fight not trying and acting a fool as usual. Fark him.

Silva looked his age , slower and less pace , it happens ..... he still can fill seats if he fights other fighters past their prime like him

Silva should've won on the cards and also should've tried harder... That said, he acted like a complete prxck and deserved to lose. He does look like he cant take a punch anymore and reflexes gone........ It was enough to beat Bisping but no one at a higher quality.

Disagree that he deserved the nod... Bisping didn't play his game and outpointed him.

Kind of a weird fight. Had the feeling Silva could have knocked Bis out whenever he wanted if he just exerted himself more.

Bisping won but some re****ed MMA fans judge fights on how damaged a fighter looks after the fight. 1st and 2nd round were clearly 10-9 for Bisping. Even in 3rd round he outstriked Silva who did nothing before that controversial knee. 4th round was again 10-9 Bisping, I can't see how you can score it otherwise. Silva didn't do anything and landed less strikes again. 5th round is arguably Silva so it's 4-1 or 3-2 for Bisping.

The only way you can argue that Silva is robbed is if you think that the fight should have been stopped at the end of the 3rd round.

I liked the Pride scoring more and it suits MMA better, but if you stick to the UFC rules then it's a win for Bisping. I would hesitate to score the fight for Silva under Pride rules as well, other than that knee he didn't go for the finish, showed no effective aggression and was just clowning and baiting for most of the fight. He just doesn't have the reflexes he used to have in his prime to pull it off.

Should it have not been judged a 10-8 seeing he basically knocked him out and only the bell saved Bisping.

Bisping won first two rds but the last 3 i gave to Silva and 10-8 in the 3rd

Actually the whole situation was a win-win, Bisping won the match but Silva won the fight, both can hold their heads up.

I agree with people what is it with Anderson Silva? Why does he continue with this stupid embarrassing antics. I recently watched him winning the cage rage championship many years ago and he played it totally straight and came across as a total bad ass. And now during his fight the acts like a cross between an embarrassing drunken uncle at a wedding and someone with learning difficulties.

The bottom line is, I'm absolutely certain Silva gave it everything he could, truly down to the last drop of the tank but by pratting around, he comes across as some tool who didn't really try.
