Luxor is pretty decent. Either will be fine.

In all honesty mate theres doing Vegas on a budget and then theres "DOING VEGAS". The two are incomparable in terms of enjoyment but you will still have an awsome time no doubt.

It's ****ing impossible to budget $100 a day. I was there from the Thursday and left on Monday morning for Hatton v Malignaggi and went through $3000... And i don't even gamble

I use Ebooker for flight's then just book the MGM through it's proper website, ended up costing me about £770 but that was back in 08

Haha seriously it's so easy to blow a fortune over there...

Tbh it was my brother's 21st that weekend so we went kinda' wild, i think outta' the $3000 at least $1800 was on alcohol. Not hard when a normal sized bottle of Bud Lite is $12 in their bars/clubs

I'd say September isn't the cheapest time to go and the hotel room rates really hike up at the weekends but that when it's most fun.

Location is everything. Use Caesars and The MGM as your two bookends on the strip and pick somewhere in-between those two. No matter where you stay you will be walking a lot but if you book somewhere like The Luxor it will be like training for the walking marathon.

The Flamingo, Bill's Gambling Hall and Bally generally have cheap rooms and are in an excellent location. I wouldn't worry too much about the hotel (just the location) you are in because you can freely walk into any hotel and nobody gives a ****. You can walk into hotels with a can of beer in your hand, they don't care.

A direct flight is much better as it cuts the travel time down to 10 or 11 hours. You could be looking at 18 hours with two flights.

I booked the flights and hotels myself and got a better deal.

I used kayak.com to book the flights. For the hotel book it direct from the hotel as they guarantee the cheapest rates. Look for hotel deals cause they always have them.

    Cheers.

The flights to the States around summertime can go up by £200.

Getting the fights for the right price is the problem. There is no end of cheap hotel rooms so that's less important.

Was there myself last month, it's a mad place. It's so good you don't want to sleep, you want to use up every second you're there.

Im Flying on 19th September! I paid £600 for 9 nights and staying at Imperial Palace through Expedia.

The flights were so cheap that when I went to change the dates so i could go for the Mayweather fight they wouldnt let me without forfeiting the entire amount i'd already spent....GUTTED!

Any good fights scheduled for the 24th Sep!!?

Bill's Gamblin Hall is where heroes and scholars stay. The bathrooms are less than brilliant but that's the only downside. Oh and the name.

Who said the riviera was walking distance to MGM? **** that we walked from the strip to there to the go kart place and it was a ****ing mission. Go karting was immense I wore loose shorts and baggy boxers, if it wasn't for the seatbelt inbetween my legs my **** would have been on full display.
