Do you think JMM will become bitter towards Pac if he doesn't get another fight vs Pac similar to the way Frazier was bitter against Ali? The circumstances are incredibly different...

Frazier was bitter because Ali humiliated him. JMM is bitter because he believed he beat Pac three times (whether he did or not is irrelevant here). Frazier saw Ali's money and fame and ended up leaving the sport broke and in the shadow of Ali and other great HW's. JMM sees Pac's millions and celebrity and thinks he should be in Pac's shoes. After all the common person has know idea who JMM is but everyone knows Pac.

Do you think he will begin to resent Pac over time? Especially if he doesn't get one more shot at facing him?

I'm not asking who is more bitter. I'm asking if JMM will become bitter over time similar to Frazier.

    Oh my bad ..

Hmm I'm surprised the man isn't secretly as bitter .A man can only take so much before he flies off the handle .Its really a true testament to Marquez' discipline as a boxer . If he gets robbed one more time ?

I wouldn't blame him if he started to punch refs !

So yes he could become as bitter .

Hell if he gets robbed again I could see him storm off to the dressing room and come back to ringside with an AK and start shooting up the place!

I think he's more bitter at the game than he is at Manny. He's friendly with Manny and defended him in his robbery against Bradley. He'd never fantasize about pushing an old decrepit Pacquiao into an Olympic torch fire. A judge or two, perhaps.

Though from what I understand, Frazier had tender feelings under all that bitterness as well.

No. Different types of rivalries, fought on different battlefields, resulting in different concequenses.

I don't think so.... JMM isn't jealous of Pacquaio persay... more jealous or pissed off at the system and BOB ARUM (the leech of boxing)......

I actually hope Bradley and Pac face off again though....

No of course not. Frazier hated Alli for the way he behaved towards him in the build up to fights, which was disgusting and had a massive effect on Frazier and his familly lifes. It's a totally different and far more poisionous situation than that of Pacquaio Vs Marquez

No, I think he wont mind as he knows the general consensus amongst fans is that he beat Pac at least twice. Ok he would like to get his hand raised but I'm sure he can sleep easy as it is.

Als I have a liited edition print of the pic of Dempsey in your Avatar, its something like 36 out of 100 its worth a bit of wonga apparently.!!!

Why should he be bitter with Pac? He knows he'll always be his daddy.
It's the judges and Top Rank he'll have a problem with.
Larry Holmes is someone who is justifiably bitter.Joe had every right to feel slighted.Uncle Tom is the worst thing you can call an African American when the whole world is watching and listening.
