Bivol definitely has at least elite attributes, but I do agree he has not fought another elite talent - although Joe Smith Jr does have elite power.

IMO he has elite judging of distance, fantastic timing, and really good shot selection - especially in combinations.

I don't think yet we have seen Bivol go through the gears, and in that respect I think he might be a bit like Usyk. in that he can sometimes do 'just enough' in 3rd or 2nd gear, but can swithc up if needed. But there is not any proof of that just now.

Beterbiev v Bivol is the fight I want to see; Artur already answered the questions in whether he could break down top fighter when he dismantled Gvozdyk, an Bivol doesn't have anything close that that on his resume. However, Bivol did get seriously chin-checked by Smith Jr, and came through that round extremely well.

The big question for me on Bivol is whether he can raise his game enough to keep Beterbiev (and Canelo while we are at it) away from his body. That's the real question.

I suppose with Bivol it comes down to the eye-test - he looks elite, and has dominated nearly all his fights without appearing to be in 1st gear. That sounds kinda similar to Crawford to me - Bivol needs something like Bud got from the Porter fight.

I don’t think he has any gears to go through. He’s one dimensional. He really pushes his punches as well. If you see it then fine, but I don’t think there’s anything about him that says elite in anyway.

Bivol is skilled no doubt. I just think that he ain't gonna KO Canelo and he won't outland him by a wide enough margin to get the W. As for Benevidez, maybe Bivol is a level above, maybe not. If he's not, he'll get covered up with busy.

I don't know about that. David needs to tighten up his defense. Bivol won't hurt him, but keeping the fight in the center of the ring is a must! Once David gets guys in the corner or on the ropes..... it's tough.
