Bivol clearly won after rewatching

The judges were disgrace. They all three gave Round 3 to Beterbiev, how in the blue hell you can give that round to Beterbiev ? He was eating clean power shots for breakfast in that Round, and land nothing of a note. Bivol landed huge bombs in that Round.

 

Same here. I did have Bivol a point ahead at the end, but i intend to watch it again in a month or so when all the fuss dies down. The thing is, I tipped Bivol beforehand and bet on him, so was wondering if that could have swayed me somewhat (I also stuck a few bob on the draw at 16-1, which may have been the fairest result too).

 

Other than the 2 rounds he took off, bivol boxed better than ever and landed repeated concussions on Artur, artur was lost in there looking dazed and confused after every exchange, eating heavy leather and landing nothing of note.

You say AB is ATG when it is Bivol who won this fight on any card that isn't an arturs fan.

 

They are both possible ATGs. Beterbiev won the fight but it was close.

 

I also rewatched it and JMM clearly beat PacMan all 4 times.

 

You can never win a fight when your opponent gives you three times more concussions than you did him, but I'm done arguing this, AB fans are completely disingenuous.

 

You're the one acting like Bivol's fanboy talking about "concussions", lol. Beterbiev outlanded Bivol, was the aggressor and controlled the ring. Nicked it in the eyes of the judges and many observers.

 

This amount of delusion is not feasible, you must also be blind to think your guy outlanded anyone while he kept getting his head blown off, or to think that chasing the mover while delivering nothing but blocked punches counts are aggression.

The only aggression in this fight is AB fans rabidly trying to rewrite reality

Translation: Bivols repeated concussions to Artur must've rubbed off to the judges because they clearly have no idea what they're doing

 

Power shots don't equal consussions and are only one criterium of scoring. So we got Beterbiev who outlanded and outworked Bivol, put more pressure on him, was the aggressor, controlled the ring and Bivol who here and there landed more cleaner shots. That's why you have the thread discussing the fight when you can argue for both boxers that they won. Saying only your OPINION is valid and presenting it like facts is very egotistical.

Two judges decided a draw, and one judge saw the victory of Bivol.

 

The irony here is that you are just as bad if not worse - this was a CLOSE fight - IMO a draw was the right result. But 115-113 either way is acceptable, it depends on what you like. Bivol scored the cleaner shots, but less of them and his output dropped significantly in the last 3 rounds, handing Beterbiev an advantage.

I do think some of the judges scores have some oddities - like Feldman giving round 9 to Beterbiev, and all 3 giving round 3 to Beterbiev, but it's a really close affair.

As I noted in another post, I feel bad for Bivol, but if he'd won an MD i'd have felt bad for Beterbiev. It was THAT close

 

I agree, I thought Bivol lost the last two rounds and it cost him the fight.
