So Canelo's team "fixed" a fight against the terrible, inept mandatory Yildrim ... but didn't bother to "fix" the Bivol fight? Fascinating. Is it like a "tiered" bribery system? Is there one "bribe" fee if the guy quits on his stool seemingly unhurt, like a quitter (like Yildrim did), another "bribe" fee if the guy allows himself to be brutally KOed (which, apparently, in this scenario, Kovalev did) and yet another fee if the guy lets you crush the bones in his face (like, apparently, Saunders agreed to do)? Also, do they pay that in cash so it's off the books? Maybe Bivol should've taken the cash and let Canelo crush his eye socket ... at least he'd have gotten paid something. I'm going to go out on a limb and say all those fights were legit ... Yildrim was just a quitter who took the payday. It wouldn't be the first time a guy took a payday and bowed out early (thinking that's the smart play) and it won't be the last. He's not exactly a world-beater. Otherwise, Canelo needs a new "fixer." Because the guy paid the bribe to Yildrim and not Bivol.
