You can't seem to handle the reality that Alvarez is actually taking risks. Then again, what would a simpleton that supports a farce like Golovkin (who's biggest win to date is Welterweight Kell Brook) know about reality.

Enjoy and appreciate that Alvarez is actually giving a moron like you another real fight to look forward to. Unlike the joke zero risk fiasco your hero showcased recently.

Kovalev - Canelo was a very strange fight. In the 11th round Kovalev looked totally gassed out ; the problem beign he barely had to move during the fight and Canelo himself was not very active. The fight was a light sparring session and in the 11th round Kovalev suddenly shows sign of being done and ready to be KOed.

In a recent interview Kov categorically stated that he 'took the money' but miscalcculated on the short camp and was super-sluggish in the ring, where he said he felt he had hardly any strength.

So the pitty pat jabbing he did was likely because he was a walking corpse, trying to get himself to the end of the fight by controlling Canelo purely with jabs - and he was doing ok at that up until the KO, but he said at that point he was spent.

So, it was less of a fix, and more Canelo playing the money-averages to get a great resume name into the fight less than 3 months after he had went through a brutal battle with Anthony Yarde (let that sink in), on a short camp; and Kov at that point was already struggling hard to make the weight.

Canelo and his team obviously watched the Kov / Yarde fight and took a calculated risk that a Kov on the slide (Yarde wouldn't have last 4 rounds with a prime Krusher!!!!) with money woes could be tempted into a fight where Canelo held all the advantages - and for them the risk paid off.

So I don't think the fight was fixed, but the deck was massively stacked against Kov. Either way, whatever the truth is, it's on Kovalev for taking the money.

I think Bivol is cut from different cloth and will be coming to win.

Yes, I'm way smarter than this. Which is precisely why I could dismantle everything you've laid out so thoroughly and brutally, in Stephen King short story form, that it would look like a nuclear blast hit this thread. However this whole discussion is incredibly idiotic and it's a waste of my time, so I'm not going to bother. My disdain for Canelo Alvarez is pretty well known, and I'm also probably the biggest fan Sergey Kovalev has on the site. There's nothing more than I would like than to believe it was fixed, but I simply do not. Because of everything I laid out in my earlier post. So, if I don't believe it was fixed, it's not fixed. Just do yourself a favor, and let It drop.

The Kovalev bout was bizarre. Kovalev just pitty patting away at a man who is much smaller than him (although granted, he was drained). He didn't throw a punch with intent throughout the contest despite Alvarez just stood there in front of him.

If Kovalev had had even 1 more week to recover I think even that shot, drained version would have beaten Canelo.

They go into their shell because they’re fearful of what Canelo can do. Kovalev was actually boxing well up until he got caught and is super bitter about the loss. Would you be bitter if you knew you were coming to lose in the first place? Use logic not hate.

Every fighter comes to win but it’s a different story when you get in there with the man who’s pound for pound king for a reason.

Kovalev usually has opponents hurting at the end of punches. Canelo kept moving into range with head movement. Canelo fought Kovalev like nobody else has, that’s why Kovalev looked different. These people making these claims are either insane or they don’t know anything about boxing.

lol it’s almost like Canelo put himself in a position where Kovalev couldn’t get extension on his punches. Wild!

Clown. He barely if at all threw any snappy jabs or punches throughout the entire fight you imbecile. You don't do that if you're tired or have no energy. I've seen countless exhausted boxers throwing punches with intent with more extension. I don't even care any more you guys are just full on fools it's actually embarassing

Kinda how Berbick took care of Ali. Nobody ever fought Ali like Berbick did. What a beating.
