This! Chilemba has a special talent — he makes almost every his opponent look boring and overrated.

Bivol is Russian, he has Russian citizenship and fights for the country. What's next? Izu is not Polish either? These fine gentlemen are representing their homecountries and millions of people depending on them.

Loma and to some extent Usyk are above anyone else in boxing.

    The Ring magazine's P4P top 5

    1. GGG
    2. Loma
    3. Crawford
    4. Usyk
    5. Garcia

Loma should be #1 though. Usyk and him are different class.

Usyk doing what he's doing fighting all his world title fights in his opponent's backyards (all bar one which was on neutral soil), harvesting their belts and zeros is something else and Loma going from P4P#1 amateur in the world to P4P#1 in the pros in just 12 fights is amazing.

I agree that he's not even close to Loma's level. Usyk would also beat him if they were the same weight but I think he's close to Usyk.

His footwork is ****. That's why he kinda looks bad.
He can move in and out really well but thats about it. Against Chilemba he looked like a crippled Sergio Martinez at times. There was no purpose to a lot of his movement.

But it was only fight #14. Bivol is way ahead of the curve, and i expect him to fix his footwork.

It's not like they were Russian judges, so it doesn't really matter where they fought.

    Except The Nail.

Can't wait for Gvozdyk to take his rightful place on the LHW throne.

Usyk vs 35 years old Danie Venter(20-8-0) - 77:75; 78:74; 78:74.Usyk is super talanted, but comparing his best fight and win over the worst version of his opponent, to Bivol's win over Chilemba, is not fair.Today Bivol looked very good, controlling the fight.I watched again some rounds of Gvozdyk-Chilemba.Of course Gvozdyk much better, but in the 4th round i think, there was a statistics, showing Chilemba landed couple punches more than Gvozdyk till that round.Against Bivol that statistic in early rounds was like 5:1 for Bivol, no need for big risk later.Again, Gvozdyk was much better and later destroy Chilemba(retired because of injury, don't know in which round he get that injury), but that was not "Gvozdyk get the win more easy because he is better".2 different fights.Chilemba believed in himself and couple of times try to land the knockout punch against Gvozdyk, was going to close distance fight, against Bivol i didn't see that.In 1 fight he risked, and get hurted, in other didn't even think for risk. Both Bivol and Gvozdyk were levels over Chilemba, both are great boxers, future ot LHW.

By the way, the fact that Kovalev lost might be rather good for both Bivol and Gvozdyk. Because they were very reluctant to fight Sergey but now they will have new opportunities and will be more enthusiastic to get the belt from Alvarez. I guess Bivol would be the first to try — maybe even in his next fight.

at least he wasn't knocked down like Lomachenko lol. Chilemba is a very dangerous and strong opponent, I wouldn't underrate Dima so much if I was you... Only 14 fights, but still more than Lomachenko ... still very young and still very hungry.

Kovalev clearly isn’t considered he just ktfo and Bivol hasn’t hit the canvas like Gvozdyk did although we have to see what Gvozdyk does with Stevenson before we can really gauge.

Yeah, that might have something to do with Gvozdyk stopping Chilemba in the 8th round, he almost matched Bivol's 12 round output... in 8 rounds. Thanks for the unintentional assist.
