    X2.

Followed by Inoue imo, who doesn't have a lot of the big, eye-catching wins outside of Donaire but gets style points.

Bivol is off to a great start with Canelo and Zurdo, who went on to grab a cruiseweight belt, but let's see him beat Beterbiev and we'll talk.

I can name at least 8 fighters that are better than him, 1 far more accomplished in his own division. He may beat Beterbiev when they fight, but his career wasn't a better career than Beterbiev's

Best fighter in Boxing yet he still has not fought a world Champion in his own Division and only had one single mandatory defence in over 7 years as Champion ! Bivol has looked good so far but the Beterbiev fight will tell us a lot more,it has took the Saudi money just to get Bivol in with Beterbiev. Also as it stands Crawford Inoue Usyk are all far more accomplished Boxers, and in more than one Divison

I've been a fan of Beterbiev since 2008 and I've never seen him outboxed. I've seen him lose rounds and a few fights in the amateurs but every single fight was fiercely competitive and you win a round of him and he'll win the next one and if you win 2 in a row he'll will the next 1 or next 2, 3, 4 or 5 or at worst it will all be square by the time he knocks you out or bludgeons you to defeat.

Gvozdyk did best of all against him but that fight was nip and tick all the way through and prime Gvozdyk was a brilliant boxer who could crack with both hands

Bivol outclasses his opponents but that doesn't happen to Beterbiev. Granted Bivol has a huge youth advantage, a speed of hand and foot advantage, and razor sharp reflexes but if age and injury haven't caught up with Beterbiev which is a big if at 39 y/o his obscene power, underrated skills and boxing ability, engine, strength and relentless pressure are extremely tough to deal with for anyone

Good points mentioned,I have never bought into Bivol and always thought in the back of my mind that he’s avoided Beterbiev at all costs until like I mentioned the Saudi money came along. Bivol has been a Champion for over 7 years and this fight could have happened years ago but it didn’t happen,Beterbiev has wanted Bivol for a long time to become Undisputed, hopefully Beterbiev has not become old overnight or is carrying any injuries and stops Bivol mid-late .

    Thanks

I think Bivol is a super talent and one of top 2 or 3 boxers in the world and one of the top 5 or 6 P4P fighters in the world too. He doesn't just beat his opponents he outclasses them. He's very much legit and his attributes pose big problems for Beterbiev but likewise so do Beterbiev's pose big problems for him. That's why it's such an intriguing match up.

Regarding whether he's ducked Beterbiev up until now or not? I don't really blame either for the fight not happening until now given how little Beterbiev and Gvozdyk earned for facing prime versions of each other in a unification match up early into their reigns. Haney earned as much as they did combined for beating a washed inactive shell of Linares.

But if anyone seemed more reluctant I'd say it was Bivol

Canelo had been a world champ at 175. So had Pascal and Joe Smith Jr.

Had beens exactly,no longer Champions when Bivol fought them years after ! Canelo Champion in 2019 fought Bivol 2022,Pascal Champion in 2011 fought Bivol in 2018,Smith Jnr had never been a Champion before he fought Bivol .
