He's got some work to do before all that talk can be serious. We know he can hit, can he take a punch from a monster and dig deep and come back and knock them out. We'll have to wait and see.

He looks like the future, but only credible defenses of his belt will clear every doubt. This world desn't need another Stevenson nor Wilder.

He will only lose if somebody punches him in the pubic area, or judges screw him over.

I'd pick Gvozdyk, Kovalev and Beterbiev over him right now.

Stevenson -40, Kovalev -34, Beterbiev -32, Gvozdyk -30, Bivol -26 He's got more future ahead of him than any of the other top light heavyweights. The present probably belongs to Beterbiev and Gvozdyk. Kovalev and Beterbiev are at the end of their primes whereas Bivol's is just beginning.

I will put it on record right now for all to see right now. Mark my words, Beterbiev's cupcake next month is not going down nearly as sweet as Bivol's. 32 and inactive is a bad combination.

Inactivity isn't going to effect a fighter that much when that fighter stays in shape. 32 isn't that old for a person that takes care of themselves anyway.
