Whats Benavidez excuse for his poor resume?

 

His excuse is that the top guy is clearly and unashamedly ducking him.

Who else should Benavidez fight that he hasn't fought already? Not one, but BOTH Charlos (one at 160, the other at 154) get an offer before he does? LOL

How is it possible that Canelo is pulling someone up from two weight classes when there is a fight in his own division to be made?

... If he gets "applaus" for fighting Bivol, should he get "boos" for fighting Jermell Charlo?

 

Benavdiez could have attempted to fight the champions before Canelo even moved up in weight, instead he ducked the super 6, he ducked callum smith, he ducked a unbeaten Caleb plant after Caleb slapped his brother in front of him. He could have fought Andrade last year when the WBC/WBO tried to make a unified mando, he could fight Morrell right now while the WBC/WBA trying to make a unified mando.. it’s not Canelo fault these guys be sitting around fighting nobodies trying to pad they record hoping they get a lotto ticket

 

I'm not a fan of the Charlo fight if that's what you are asking. Benavidez won his first world title years ago. He could have fought any of the top fighters while waiting for Canelo.

 

Which is exactly what he did 3 months ago, fighting the division number 2. You clowns need to update your script anyway considering Canelo went after 2 guys in lower divisions who have clearly far less merit for the Canelo fight than Benavidez. It was always an excuse anyway, Canelo fights who he wants for reasons that suit him. The only fighters waiting are the Charlo's which is ironically the ones he went after.

 

But that is a monumental exception considering Benavidez was rated the best fighter in the division before Canelo even joined it. Thats 5 years, and 8 fights ago after he fights Charlo. Odd that its SO hard to get that fight, but so easy for the UK cans.

 

He never ducked Andrade.

Ducking is pretending that someone doesn't exist, or isn't worth your time when they are clearly established as your most formiddable challenge at a weight you hold titles in... while negotiating fights with fighters in lower divisions.

These dudes literally said, 'Jermall can't fight? Fukk it, let's see what his brother is up to'.

What kind of shyt is that?

That is a major part of it with me. How they handle business. Whoever they are fighting.
