Zinad is a talented fighter who got his big break few fights too early but such as life. His inexperience showed. He wasn't guarding against left hooks properly and wasn't varying his punches. Once Bivol figured this out, he adjusted his guard and position, neutralized Zinad's straight jab, waited for him to slow down and did a number on him with left hooks.

Bivol is a walking boxing textbook and such a delight to watch - who cares if he doesn't get early stoppages.

Bivol seems kind of like Keith Thurman. He was knocking guys out but then against better opposition his power wasn't all that.

1 TKO in 10 fights while punching clean with sniper accuracy and perfect textbook technique? Yes, his wife would probably agree that he has good power. But in boxing this is what you call pillow fists.

Bivol is great because of his great footwork, knowing when to commit, timing, discipline and altogether superior IQ. Power is meh.

hes a solid 7 in power its good enough to keep you at bay. and he doesnt need 9 or 10 power anyway his skills are insane on him to dismantle a fighter.

He has stinging hurtful power but not to the point of being destructive. His KOs are mostly an accumulation of punches. If he fought more aggressively often he’d probably get more stoppages but that’s not his style or mentality. He’s a boxer first who is content within outpointing his opponents but will go for the kill if the opportunity presents itself.

I’ve always thought it was part of him being an ice cold dude. Why knock you out early and give you the easy way out when I can embarrass you for all 12 rounds and take even more of a mental toll on you. He has that psycho look about him.

I’ve asked before, but when have you really seen Bivol sit down on his punches? I never have, mind you I haven’t seen all his fights. But the ones I have seen he’s usually giving just enough to stop the opponent and change positions.

He's a boxer. He seems content to put hands on an opponent and keep him off balance.

He hardly ever really sits down on his punches attempting to do murderous damage.

The same could be set about Loma and Usyk.

I'm guessing that comes from training in a Soviet style designed for winning in the amateurs.

His style is obviously effective but not overly crowd pleasing.

Bivol doesn't get the praise he deserves . He literally played with Canelo, Made the egotistical
self proclaimed King of Boxing look like a fool . ROFLMAO He had a tougher opponent this last time. He took his time, when he decided it was time BOOM!!! he tok him out. The only person who stands a chance against him is Beterbiev who can take you out in a heartbeat with one punch. I hope Artur gets back to 100% that's a fight I wouldn't miss for the world. If only Floyd & Canelo were as good, but theyre not in that class

Bivol has said in several interviews he likes to go the distance... He enjoys boxing.. He says he knows that he can KO someone, but he backs off when someone is hurt... This technique is called edging.

Isn't the soviet style about not fully sitting down on your punches and staying evasive?

Kovalev, Beterbiev, Povetkin, Tszyu, Valuev would beg to differ.

Bivol has the misfortune of being compared to Beterbiev.
