He also said - "If I beat Canelo again, it would be like I'm in the same place, same belt, same victory. I prefer to fight for other belts."

He doesn't seem interested in facing Canelo @ 168 and I doubt he would want a rematch at all. If that blow out last Saturday was scored 115-113 by all three judges and them giving Canelo the first four rounds which is laughable, they can easily rig it in the rematch and that must be in the back of Bivol's head. It may not be worth it, he would get paid but I doubt he wants to risk his perfect record with crooked judges stealing a win from him. Problem is, Canelo has a rematch clause in the contract which sucks.

Sounds like Bivol is having second thoughts about a rematch. Now he don't want 168 no more. Cool then Canelo can rematch him at 175 and take his belt.

I’m not interested in a rematch either.

    While the matchup was intriguing
It was quite one sided… no need for a rematch they should both move on in their respective weight classes.

It would be best for both of them as well as best for the sport to be honest.

People want Bivol against Beterbiev, not against a guy he already schooled.

I think his handlers have got to him. It will be interesting how this plays out.

Bivol should just move on. Him beating Canelo again does nothing for him unless fast Eddie comes up with a boatload of cash-which is meaningless since he hasn't been paid yet so far as I know for the first bout.

He needs to target the winner of Beterbiev and Smith jr. That's the fight fans want to see.

Seems like Canelo's scared of rematching at 175. Doesn't he have enough advantages of pre-filled scorecards and scum ref?

Isn't he contractually obliged to agree to a rematch? Won't matter since he'll school Ginger Nuts even worse, and likely KO him (or worse, Lacy him over twelve rounds and render him a broken battered shell of a man from thenceforth).

But yeah, all the pots and pans will be out in the judges' kitchen to help cook up a Canelo win at all costs. Bivol has a right to be concerned about that.

There's always got to be a rematch in this sport even when the fight wasn't close .. if it's a big star involved.. Bivol can move forward now with one of the rarest commodities in boxing… A decision win over Canelo… Why arse around with him again.. Undisputed at 168 or undisputed at 175.. it really is a no brainer.. gun for Beterviev not Canelo
