That's what I was thinking, Beterbiev could go rogue and refuse to fight and then everybody loses, so maybe Hearn/DZN can make a fair offer to GYM and get another world champion on the books.

 

He should sign Gassiev next...

Bivol was a HBO fighter and was being mentored by Andre Ward. Interesting see what happens now.

 

He should sign with Matchroom USSR. Not many people in the USA have ever heard of him, and of those not many are going to plop down a credit card to pay a subscription fee to watch him fight on their phones.

The guy Eddie should sign as a project, one who he can build into a star by getting his story out and carefully matching him over the next 2-3 years, is Trey Lippe Morrison — Tommy Morrison’s son. He’s a heavyweight with a built-in story and name recognition and appears to have enough pop to get by the lower-tier guys if guided properly.

Sign him and put him on EVERY SINGLE card on DAZN, the first six or eight against absolute fodder, then release those fights (which should be highlight-reel knockouts) on Youtube for free to build some buzz. THEN very carefully step him up from F and D level to C and keep him there for a year fighting every other month.

By the time he’s 30-something and 0, start main eventing him, pick a spot and step him up/cash him in. You could probably, after a year or so, sell some subs with him.

This. Hearn has "singed" him in the sense he'll be putting him on in the US, but Ryabinsky is probably still his promoter. I imagine Hearn is to Ryabinsky what Lou DiBella is to Haymon.

 

Hearn said that guys dont have to sign with Matchroom to be featured on DAZN. Lets hope thats actually true.
