Best version of Bivol was more tired than worst version of old Beterbiev.

If he opens up, he will be hurt and eventually stopped

Bivol needs to be the younger, faster, more active boxer.

the pitty pat weasel shots that Bivol was using would put most of us on the seat of our pants. Bivol won in my book. however, my book is.........................irrelevant. To use strategy in a fight....is not unheard of.
Bivol just needs to be Bivol. adjust if he wants to.....once you have fought someone you learn things. if he wants to do something different fine. however, at this stage of one's career...do what has worked for you....Bivol just needs to be Bivol. He can ...and probably will win the rematch.

I've talked to him about this personally and was not impressed with the game plan at all. He intends to repeat his initial attempts at landing punches while evading them. The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly while anticipating a different result.

Bivol as a younger fighter didnt look good in later rounds, he has a great stamina actually, but maybe fighting BTR is so stressful that he tired faster than usual. If he didnt improve, I would advice him to conserve his energy and win the last minute of the rounds to impress judges, its a bad look when 40yo Arthur is more agressive and active than his young opponent.

Same but look for the extra jab where he can. He won the first fight for me and he can get the nod with the same strategy. You can't out-strategy Beterbiev with what Bivol has and his original strategy was elite anyway.

Stand his ground a bit more and be more authoritative. This doesn’t mean he has to chase Beterbiev or throw many more punches, but that he has to be cognizant of looking like the one in control for most of the rounds.

It’s what I expect, but there’s a fine line. If Bivol has poor ring IQ he’ll try to fight too much, end up tired and stopped late. If he manages himself right, he’ll win.

@tinman do you consider Bivols performance in the rematch as honorable and manly this time?

Not particularly. He showed up in better shape this time and was able to put more miles on the bike.

Bivol boxed exactly the way I thought he would.

Maybe he should dose himself on PEDs and he won't have to

Or maybe beterbiev should take more drugs to catch up to him

I mean he is 40 years old. Bivol was able to sustain a higher pace and that was the difference in this fight. I think Bivol actually won the fight.
