It is Canelo who needs the fight for redemption, since he has a loss to Bivol.

Bivol has stated that he would prefer to face Beterbiev for undisputed at Light Heavy, and Beterbiev is a far more challenging bout for Bivol than a rematch with Alvarez at any weight.

 

But you didn't mind seeing Canelo pick on Khan did you. Anyway Canelo challenged Bivol but when he got his butt whupped he whines & cries " I had a bad camp, I was injured 2 fights ago & need surgery .

I agree with this, if Canelo wants the rematch it should happen at 175. Both Bivol & Beterbiev have held world titles for over 5 years now & that is the fight that should be focused on

 

He doesn't have much chance against either man at this point in time.

 

I agree but it's my understanding that Canelo has a rematch clause for a fight with Bivol, if he chooses to enforce it or not is a different matter

 

He has recently stated that he does, but time will tell.

 

Canelo doesn't need to fight Bivol again. He's already a HOF'er with millions of dollars he should just take the L and look for a different opponent.

 

Problem is that Canelo was never a big 168 pound fighter.

Bivol should be grateful for the opportunity that he got and move on with his career. That or start chasing Canelo down the weightclasses. Make some fights at 168 and prove himself a force at that weightclass.

 

Don't really get the point of it, but oh well just meaningless plastic really
