I don't like using punchstats but I think these stats are pretty much what I saw with Bivol winning the early rounds and then taking over in the 2nd half of the fight. I really don't know how anyone thinks this fight was close to a draw for me it was a very clear win for Bivol and its not really debatable either IMO. @CST80 This content is protected
You should be using quantitative data when you analyse fights. Bivol clearly landed more punches and its supported by the data. It does not mean he automatically wins the fight but its valuable data.
Those midrounds were so dire for Bivol that I was sure he was injured and on his way to getting grounded down. Totally stopped throwing the right and his movement slowed right down. Yet he surged back after that to win most of the rest of the fight. A bit like Usyk in Fury 1, guy has an incredible second wind.
