A prime Beterbiev probably beats Bivol, styles make fights. This old Beterbiev? I think Bivol beats him.
Interesting watching this now that he's beaten Clenelo 'DMITRY BIVOL SAYS ARTUR BETERBIEV IS "THE MOST DANGEROUS FIGHTER IN THE WORLD" & WANTS CANELO FIGHT' This content is protected
E-Hearn going to bend over backwards to make Bivol vs Buatsi in the UK if Clen doesn't take the rematch. Buatsi is one of his favourites too
It's not too late for that fight, Beterriev showed what boxing is against Marcus Browne. I am afraid that 2024 will be too late, but I am not deciding on that.
Beterbiev is a different breed of man, seriously scary. i think he beats Bivol up, and i think Gvozdyk hits alot harder than bivol although a little less defensively aware.
I think Bivol keeps away and wins a decision, Beterbiev won't give him any scares, but will win four rounds. If it somehow happens this year.
Gvozdyk definitely hits harder than Bivol, but Bivol is a lot more technical imo and higher IQ. Gvozdyk has crazy physical gifts, he was fast, hit harder than both Loma and Usyk at their respective weights but they just had way better fight IQ and heart than him.
Thing is I don't ever recall seeing anyone outbox Beterbiev. Win rounds of him, yes. But win them wide or win more than one or two on the spin? Outclass him? Nope I don't ever recall seeing that. Maybe I might be forgetting seeing it happen sometime but I don't think I am. Gvozdyk is a highly skilled excellent boxer but it was nip and tuck and all the rounds or almost all of them were close/relatively close and competitive. Marcus Browne is a slick rangy excellent boxer too but how many rounds did he take off Beterbiev? One? Maybe two? And they were the early rounds and as soon Beterbiev got into his groove he hunted him down and beat the crap out of him. Master boxer Usyk couldn't keep Beterbiev off of him in either of their two fights there's video of. He won them both but it was fiercely competitive and bitterly contested from start to finish from what I recall. Artur has a way of making that ring feel very small and catching up to you and it's not a case of you totally outboxing him for the first half of the fight and him eventually catching up to you in the second half at some point. He's right in the fight applying that constant pressure, landing his bombs and breaking you down bit by bit. I love Pastor Dmitry too and I don't want either to ever lose. But, as said, I've never seen Artur outclassed or need a come from behind KO in the late rounds to salvage victory from the jaws of defeat after being outboxed and keeping him off you for 12 rounds isn't an easy task at all and when he does get into his groove it can become a nightmarish and very punishing and painful one. Beterbiev's age is against him but best believe Bivol knows that even if he wins he'll be navigating his was across a minefield for 36 minutes and he'll have to box a near perfect fight, which to be fair he's capable of doing. Look at how demoralized and beaten Browne looks at the end of the fight. It was similar with Gvozdyk too This content is protected
Bivol is now a famous and fight against BTR has to happen, excuse "2 unknown fighters from Russia" is not valid anymore.
