Golden Boys promotional plan is build guys up to 40-0 and get soundly beaten by Dmitry Bivol

The potential Bivol-Beterbiev showdown is giving me Spence-Crawford vibes.

I don't mind Bivol whooping on Munguia.... but atleast give us a super fight first. BTW, do we really believe Munguia will be fight Bivol? He's already turned down title shots.

    Bivol is the new Mexicutioner

    Munguia is a joke
He's turned down at least 3 title fights at MW
They are going to cash out this clown like this? Extremely doubtful

People hate on Canelo, but at least he fought Golovkin, eventually(unlike Cotto). Heck, he even fought him 3 times.
Pacquiao and Mayweather fought in their late 30s.
Bivol vs Beterbiev is unlikely to happen. Just like we didn´t get Stevenson vs Kovalev.
Spence vs Crawford is slowly going past it´s best by date as Bud is 35 now.
Wilder vs Joshua fell through. Instead we got Fury vs Wilder, which was pretty good...but took over 3 years to wrap up. And now Fury vs Usyk has fallen through.

The biggest, most meaningful fights just don´t tend to happen. But not to complain too much as we have had a lot of unified champs in recent years, however there is a clear trend of big fights falling through or happening too late.

So how Mexican victims on your CV does it take to earn the title of "Mexicutioner"? This has never been addressed here.

First you have to destroy the King Mexican (Canelo)
Then you begin destroying the other fancy mexican icons (Gilberto and Munguia)
and it has to be a concerted effort to target them

Manny achieved this by wiping out Morales, Barrera and Marquez

So do you consider Canelo the Britxicutioner?

And in Manny's case wouldn't being Mexicutioned strip him of his Mexicutioner title?

So many iffy rules about this whole (fill in the blank)xicutioner business.
