Bivol vs. Ward

They do work according to some but they only seem to work if they go in a certain direction

Ward liked to eliminate his opponent's opportunity to land with counter punches (ie. the most dangerous punches) with his excessive array of illegal tactics but Bivol is too fleet of hand and foot and he's a combination counter puncher and he would beat Ward on points and then get robbed by Ward's three home judges

Would Ward fight Bivol is his country?

Never

What about in his country with a home ref?

No chance

Or in his country with a home ref and three home judges?

Well, that's the set of rules Ward played by whilst expecting his opponents to play by a set he never ever would've dared do himself

 

He has excellent feet, judgement of distance, very sharp reflexes and vision, and his Eurasian genetics enable him to see things in slow motion. When Ward lunges to try and octopus grab him like like he does it will only take Bivol a split second to see him, react, step back, and then fire off his combination counters.

Bivol is faster, has a better engine, chin, defence, and Ward can't hurt him

Ward was terrified of counter punches for a reason
