Team Bivol has stated that they intend to file an exemption request with the WBA to allow Dmitry Bivol to defend his WBA light-heavyweight world title vs Joshua Buatsi next in October, before his ordered mandatory defence vs Gilberto Ramirez

There you have it guys Bivol WANTS NO PART of Zurdo, Bivol is begging WBA to allow him to fight a no-name bum instead in October !

This is probably because Buatsi will bring more money in and is part of the same stable. I agree though, he should fight Zurdo.

Bivol just beat Canelo who is on a different planet compared to Zurdo who is pretty much a bum who hasnt had a meaningfull fight in his 40 plus fights career. Its ludicrous to think Bivol is scared of that clown.

Bivol has beaten Canelo, Smith, Pascal etc and your applying he is scared of Zurdo?

Buatsi will potentially earn Bivol more money whilst getting his name known amongst British fans and after could lead to a bigger fight with Callum Smith.

Bivol is kind of guy who don't talk BS. when he said that he wants to fight Zurdo if Beterbiev fight is not available, he means it.

Yea, where's the source? I don't think Bivol is scared of anyone in the division. Beating Zurdo is like walking in the park for Bivol.

Zurdo will bring plenty of money, especially if the fight is in the USA.

Buatsi is limited. Zurdo is a better fighter, and will make for a more interesting fight.

    What awful logic.

So instead of facing Ramirez and Beterbiev he should face Buatsi and Smith ffs.

Beterbiev is a different case, that should be priority to become unified champion (the winner of that would easily be amongst amongst top 4 P4P) . That should be priority but I understand choosing Buatsi and potentially Smith as bigger earning fights than Ramirez.

You aren't his bank manager. You don't care how much he makes. You want to see him fight the best possible fighters.

Ramirez is the next best LHW he can fight after Beterbiev.

I think Smith is better than Ramirez.
