I just can not help to myself, but Bivol got caught into the dirty politics. He is in his PRIME and he doesn't fight.

He didn't get Beterbiev, Canelo wants to freeze him out.....

I want to see this exceptional fighter against Beterbiev, Canelo rematch, David Benavidez.... not only in his weight class, but also in 168.

He would crush anybody. There is nobody WHO can outpoint him or TKO him in 175 and 168. Nor even Beterbiev, Bivol will neutralize him ... specially in this age.

Usyk, Inoue, Crawford and Bivol are just completely superior to rest of the nowadays boxers. Second wave are Shakur and Lomachenko (probably Retirechenko in two years).

    EDIT
And I dare anybody to say that there is another 175 from history of boxing WHO would dismantle Bivol! Even ATG would have full hand of work with a machine from Tokmok Dmitry Yuryevich Bivol.

Honestly after the first fight with Canelo I had no will to see him in a rematch. Maybe it made sense financially but the fight was so one-sided, I would have rather saw him fighting someone else.
At the end he still hasnt fought anyone which is in my opinion the worst. Absolute waste of prime, but it seems according to his promoter that it has been very difficult to find an opponent to fight him.

On top of that Beterbiev gets injured very often and promoting companies make it very difficult....

Spectacular fighter though, always a pleasure to see him in action, technically one of the best.

I hold dude in very high regard, but I can't believe it's all one way. Surely he could have found a couple of guys to fight even if they were sub par for less money than he is probably worth in an ideal world. Ultimately, he should have bent to the market and fought for less money.

Beterbiev is the modern day and ATG at LHW that people are reluctant to recognise.

He will crush Bivol. There is no way Bivol can stay bouncing on his toes for 12 rounds and not get caught to the body and head and not feel the impact.

Guy clearly doesn't want to fight Beter unless he's getting a cash-out payday. That's because he knows he's likely getting badly KO'd.
There's no way Beter is scared of a light puncher like Bivol. He stood in front of Smith and Yarde.
So I'd blame Bivol for that fight failing.
Seems to be overvaluing himself versus Beter.

Apparently, according to E-Hearn, Bivol has been out because he's had an injury

You are asking about one of the most stacked divisions in the history of the sport. Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Micheal Spinks, Gene Tunney, Tommy Loughran, Billy Conn, Sam Langford. It's a tough ask to 12-0 Bivol who is extremely talented, but there is a strong case for any of those men to at least win comfortably.

I like the fact that many mexicans wanna see Benavidez vs Canelo and kinda pressuringer ginger. On russian forums i have never seen people actively forcing BTR vs Bivol...

They're not ethnic Russians so there isnt the native fanbase behind them that Americans think there is.

Beterbiev's fanbase are Muslims (regardless of ethnicity) Chechens and people from the Caucus as well are pure boxing fans. He hasn't translated into casuals because of very poor promoting by Top Rank (minimum effort and some $500 production videos on YouTube).

Bivol's popularity is from being Canelo's daddy and the casuals know him better

In either case, both fighter's promoters have failed to capitalise on their strengths and build on an audience

This is not Spence Vs Crawford where there is an American fanbase and a subculture that can be milked

People think Beterbiev is flat footed and has poor footwork but he has plenty of bounce in his steps and can fire CANNONS with minimum loadup when he wants to.

Bivol will not survive the distance and I think he will take the fight now because (A) he has nowhere else to go (B) He is used to a bigger spotlight and bigger purses and (C) is cash strapped because of his divorce.

Maybe he can milk another payday from Eddie Hearn and DAZN by facing the winner of Azeez/Buatsi or Yarde in the UK before facing Beterbiev.

    Enjoy the destruction muchachos.

I disagree with the bolded. Based of "skills" I think Ennis, Shakur,.Davis, Fury, Canelo, Keyshawn, and Loma are all in that class. Crawford and Bivol are both questionable since.Bivol hasn't faced his.equal and Crawford defeated a fighter who.wouldve lost to any other top 5 WW that night
