Thanks. Yes it was at a catchweight and Floyd really shot himself in the foot with his previous comments about fighting opponents at catchweights But ultimately they both whooped Clenelo's ass like a red-headed stepchild
Floyd, out on a more dominant display and landed more punches, Canelo while young in that fight had just beaten trout and beat Lara the fight after so that shows his quality. Bivol while a good showing Canelo isn’t a LHW any fight in that division is risky especially vs a top 3 fighter.
Canelo won 0 round against Bivol: https://www.*******.com/canelo-vs-bivol-compubox-punch-stats--166060 But that didn't stop the 3 judges scoring 115:113 (7:5 rounds) for Bivoll. I wonder if Chanelo won only one round, if the judges would score a split decision - a draw?
I did. I did. Just that Canelo's o called vast improvements didn't help him against a smart fighter with good movement. So, that begs the question, did Canelo really improve, if so, how much? In my opinion, not much.
Floyd beats Clenelo Bivol beats Clenelo I picked Bivol to beat Roy in that other thread Bivol beats Floyd via SD But Floyd beats Roy and I've always maintained that. I see Floyd knocking his ass smooth out in that one
Ask this again after Canelo vs Bivol II. I didn't really care to see a 2nd fight but now that I have thought about it some, I am very interested to see what Canelo shows up to the fight.
