Everyone forgets Danny hasnt had a tough fight in years. his last few fights his hardly been touched...it will be interesting to see what will happen when a legit big man lands on him and goes a few rounds.

Same Rodin. That's not the Australia I grew up in either mate.

Here we've got an Aussie in Green, defending his world title against a genuinely credentialed opponent, and there's people who call themselves Australians hoping he gets smashed by a Yank they've never seen before! WTF!

Might understand it if it were a case of an Aussie promising world domination and fighting just another bum of the month - but that plainly isn't the case here.

    ...takes all kinds mate!

Just because Green is Aussie does not dictate that all Australian boxing fans should be rooting for him in world title fights, the same way as it doesnt dictate it for Mandy. Half the people go to watch the fight to see Green get a licking, the other half go to see him win, its the same for Mandy.

In the case with Green his really got some answering to do and props to him for taking on BJ but at 200lb id put alot of money on BJ to win by KO/TKO and ill be rooting for BJ to do so lol.

Green deserves all the flak he's been getting, especially since the Briggs fiasco. The circus he was running went from bad to worse just so he could line his pockets.

In my eyes there's no redemption for Green after the Briggs fight. He was happy to potentially kill an Aussie mate who never should've been allowed near a ring again. He calls Briggs a dog in the ring afterward yet the following day tries to sell us some more bull**** waving a cd around as some sort of proof that the KO was legit.

The IBO is not a legit world title and the sooner these orgs are ignored the sooner they'll disappear and boxing will get back to where it once was.

i was never a huge green fan, just didnt buy into his **** from the beginning. but what really turned me against him was his epiphany retirement and the way he went about his comeback with all trhe mundine carry on and all that ****. then the briggs fiasco which could be seen coming. the roy jones fight and all that come with it and the other bull**** opponents before then.

i do give him some credit for this fight its the best of his comeback and for the record i think he will ko bj, who i've only seen fight once against the ding a ling man.
while he looked very skilled and mobile for a big lad he really outboxed him beautifully that fight and could well do the same to green but i just felt he looked very chinny and i think green who is just that bit quicker and throws straighter and much more punches than wilson did that fight will get to him eventually. but im still hoping greens first time against a natural cruiser will be trhe deciding factor and i will be cheering for a big bj ko

too right....Flores is a big unit with a half decent jab...Greens' never fought anyone this strong/heavy before either....he's gotta give him angles and mix it up....maintain the high workrate and hopefully drag him into the deepend later in the fight....it ain't gunna be an easy fight by no means.

Agreed. Green will need to deal with some pain he hasn't felt for some time if he's to get over Flores.

Flores puts the rocking shoes under southpaw Vassily Jirov even with the sparring gear on:
