    Flores rejects title shot!
IBF #2/WBO #5/WBA #8/WBC #13 cruiserweight BJ Flores (21-0-1, 13 KOs) has rejected an offer to fight Enzo Maccarinelli on late notice for the vacant WBO title. "Sports Network called me on Tuesday and offered me a shot at the title against Enzo Maccarinelli for the vacant WBO belt in a fight to be held in England this Saturday," said Flores. "It's a fight I'm very interested in, but I told the promoter; at least give me a couple of weeks to prepare. They told me it was a 'take it or leave it' proposition." He left it. Maccarenelli, currently ranked #3 by the WBO was scheduled to face #2 ranked Johnathon Banks until the latter was forced out earlier this week with an ankle injury.[/FONT]

    Hide will take it.

No doubt Enzo vs. Hide would end in a K.O.

Yes, can't blame BJ for this. Very short space of time to get ready plus jet lag to overcome.

Really, all the obvious signs do point to Herbie as the best option. But it may not be the option that Warren wants to take.

With Hide, being close to a WBC title shot, he may not want to risk fighting for the WBO at 6 days notice...

It's way too short notice to get any decent opponent from the US, but if Enzo picks up the belt from whoever he faces then him v BJ would be a cracking first defence
