BJ Penn coming back @ ufc 152 against Rory Macdonald!!!!

    In speaking with the director of BJPENN.COM, and after contemplating the matchup and possible return to action with his advisors, BJ Penn issued the following response to Rory MacDonald…

    “Rory, I accept your challenge!”

    Now all that is left is to get the UFC on board and put “Penn” to paper.

    The bout is proposed for the UFC’s return to Toronto, Ontario Canada on September 22 for UFC 152. No venue has been selected at this time.

    BJ Penn will be a guest this Thursday on our very own “Just Scrap Radio” to discuss his return to action. Tune in on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET right here on BJPENN.COM.

    should be an awesome fight...who you got? i got rory

    I really hoped to see BJ back at 155. 170 aint the division for him still im glad to see back my favorite fighter.

    Man, BJ's balls-to-brains ratio is WAY out of whack. :lol:

    Gotta be one of everyone's favourite fighters though. His second fight with Matt Hughes was the one that tipped the balance and got 2 of my mates into watching MMA. They enjoyed his pre-fight demeanour, and they were amazed at the flexibility in his legs when Hughes had Penn's foot basically twisted behind his own head and was STILL failing to get the takedown. :lol:

    I think people will be shocked when the dust settles after this fight

    MaCdonald is well rounded yes but he has flaws , his strength is the fact he is pretty good everything , but great at nothing , he has good compact stand up , good solid punches , technically ok with his hands and kicks , gives his opponent very little but doesn't waste much either , his wrestling is above average but again nothing that special (there's a chance Penn takes him down and no chance he's taking Penn down) , his ground game again is pretty solid but ill reiterate he's not on Penn's level there either , not by a long long way , his engine , heart and cardio is pretty dam good , and this is whats seen him through a couple of hairy moments since going mainstream , that as well as good solid schooling in the sport of MMA

    If Penn comes in shape ............................ how many times have we heard that !!!!!! :huh , he's too much to handle in terms of ability for Rory and i believe Penn will beat him

    Just to confirm here , the BJ that showed up against Jon Fitch IMO would beat Rory MaCdonald
