Both are 2 of my favourites & I always want them to win when they fight.

I think both are top 5 p4p with Penn being 1 or 2 spots higher due mainly to being able to dominate the LWTs easier than Nog can do at HWT.

If you want to learn pure BJJ then you probably have to pick Penn to teach you before Nogueira but I think Nog`s BJJ is the deadliest as far as fighting in MMA.

Just look at the guys he has submitted using triangles, anaconda chokes, armbars etc. superb submission specialist.

Nogueira is the deadliest submission fighter in MMA - Penn is the most skillfull BJJ practitioner in MMA.

word on the street is that bj isnt that good of a teacher, doing jiujitsu and teaching jiujitsu are 2 entirely different things, hes one of kinda guys who just gets it, also he has physical tools, such as his flexibility that you just cant teach, proof in that is the tournaments out here tend to be dominated by the relson gracie schools as oppoed to the nova uniao which bj is apart of

after the worlds i know he did a couple no gi super fights and took the guys to school, cant remember the opponents...its been so long since hes done competition jiu jitsu, he gets really good rolling though his brothers are all black belts (who have competed very well internationally) he rolls with charuto and renato zambonaro as well, i think there are about 6 black belts at his school, if that wont keep someone on top of there game jiujitsu wise i dont know what would

Pretty much his JJ is somewhat under the radar and mysterious coz hes in Hawaii and have not competed in ADCC..But hes rolled on par with Leo Viera (who is ELITE)..He dominates Charuto now...

I think the guy he rolled with was Mike Cardozo..who challenged him..he did dominate him..BJs just a bad mofo...a born fighter

BJ is the better ground fighter in MMA because of wrestling, ground and pound, top game;BJJ is not just subs from the guard, it involves all aspects of ground fighting

BJ is also the more accomplished and well rounded pure BJJ player because of takedowns and top game, also he is technically at least as good.

Nog has the more dangerous guard in terms of subs, BJ mostly looks to sweep/stand up/or take the back.
