Well that Idiot has excellent cardio and only improves From every fight. Had a staph infection in his rematch with Koscheck and Jon fitch was simply a better wrestler and bigger. BJ may have better Jiu Jitsu but Diego is no moron on the ground, he's a black belt level. The only reason he does have one is because he wanted to start fresh with Saulo Ribeiro from a white belt, but before that he was a brown belt. And I'll repeat, BJ's Jiu Jitsu is better but it's not like Diego doesn't know what he's doing. As far as standup, I'll give BJ the advantage with punches and Sanchez the advantage with kicks. Diego Sanchez is not gonna get bitched out like Kenny Florian did. Diego doesn't mind getting hit and he's gonna touch BJ too. This is gonna be a very good fight. I've been wanting to see this since they were at 170. Maybe Sanchez's personality may cause people to have they're opinion, but as far as fighting goes, he's certanly no idiot.

I dont see anything special about Diego at all. Just another TUF fighter in my eyes. Like i said BJ by whatever he wants.

 

yea it won't be an easy fight but i still like bj in this fight. Diego's striking has improved and he is a good wrestler so i expect this fight to be a tough fight for bj. I think once bj gets this fight to the ground then he can pretty much control the fight. I think he wins this fight like his past couple of fights. Rear naked choke just like he did against florian-stevenson and pulver.

 

Maybe BJ can stop this fight, he's BJ. He's the champ and extremely talented. But he man handled Florian, Stevenson & Pulver. He's not gonna just run through Sanchez like he's nobody. Sanchez has experience against good strikers and great grapplers.

Joe Riggs- bigger and Better Boxer than BJ Penn and Sanchez stretched him quickly. Joe Riggs had never been knocked out before up to that point.

Karo Parisyan- A well known Judo guy. Karo's Judo is always being mentioned as some of the best around and Sanchez beat the crap out of him. Karo looked like he needed an oxygen mask after that fight just like Josh Koscheck needed after his first fight with Diego. Diego pushed a serious pace in that fight and he knocked Parisyan's tooth out with a knee.

Nick Diaz- Noted highly for his Jiu Jitsu and Sanchez whipped his ass too. Infact, Sanchez out positioned Diaz, out scrambled him and beat him in the transitions.

Kenny Florian- Noted highly for his Jiu Jitsu and all it took was 1 round for Sanchez to run through that guy.

Diego Sanchez is no joke and at 155 he's only getting even more comfortable.

 

The "Old Diego" is the one that dominated Diaz and Florian and Pariysian. KOing Riggs was the worst thing that could've happened to him because it made him think he is some standup-wizard. He needs to go back to his roots. Either way though, he's not beating Penn, no way no how

 

Diego looked great in his last fight (outside of a being a complete dork), but BJ is just better at everything and should win.

Kongo Mir should like like Mir Hardonk.

 

I just can't wait to see what kind of talk goes on between BJ and Diego :rofl

Exactly bro I dont see how anyone could see otherwise. First off Sanchez should have a 10-8 1st round that was a complete **** that took place. 2nd round Guida got a takedown but did nothing with it he didnt pass guard and landed no effective strikes, Sanchez ripped him up literally with huge elbows. 3rd round agian Sanchez is on his back but was very close with a Kimura and an Armbar. People just score it for a guy whos on top because they know nothing about fighting they just see the top guy as the dominant guy but guard and even half guard is a neutral postion even in MMA. When the guy in top guard is ****ing laying there getting his ass beat by the guy on bottom well the guy on bottom is winning as hes trying to finish the fight. The fact that fight was a SD made me vomit.

 

Totally agree with you man. I don't know how the hell they scored that sh*t for Guida. Just casual fans look at the guy on top like he's winning. They know nothing about grappling and nothing about effective aggressiveness. Guida got that takedown in round 2 and got blasted with vicious elbows from the bottom and Diego cut him with those shots. Diego should have won a UD.
