y wud u pick mayweather. he is the worst candidate u shud have said cotto or even hatton. i mean the philly shell would not work in MMA i no he can fight orthodox but even then hes not gunna land the 1 KO punch immediaty and KO penn lol

im fighting mma fighters in mma would all lose. hell you could out mayweather against a low level mma fighter with little experience but a good ground game and mayweather is losing. this fight would be over quick bj by sub. mayweather maybe gets one punch off before bj takes him to the ground and subs him. dumb to even ask and the people who think that mayweather wins are delusional boxing fans. dont get me wrong if bj faught in boxing the mayweather by brutal ko first round in terrible fassion the sports are two different stop comparing them.

BJ Penn would walk all over floyd in an MMA fight.

 

Mayweather hours training is hands 20,000+ J Penn hours training hands 1000 if he is lucky. BJ Penn hours tarining BJJ 8,000 plus Mayweather hours tarining BJJ, 0 if this was about music there is no question which one would be technical better in every aspect, so why is there any debate, well there isn't one really.

 

Boxing is obviously Floyd and MMA is obviously Penn.

I think the more interesting question is who would win a K1 style kickboxing match. My money would be on Penn, I think he has what it takes to kick Floyd's tiny legs out from under him, or possibly hurt him with some good knees when he bends over.

Kenny is good, very good but he does not have the mind required to break BJ, Penn has never quit in a fight ever, I saw Diego pull out Kennys heart on TUF, still he is excellent fighter, I just don't see him being stronger or better at BJ at anything apart from leg kicks.

 

These questions are so dumb. In a pure boxing match Floyd beats BJ every time. In a MMA fight Penn beats Floyd every time.
