We started chatting about what he thought of Joe's upcoming fight; BJ feels that Joe has a very good chance of winning his fight against Kenny Florian for Ultimate Fight Night in Broomfield, CO. "If Joe does win, and I win the belt, there's a good chance that we may have to fight each other." I quickly responded, "But you guys wouldn't do that, would you?" BJ said, "He would have to fight me if he wants to be the champion. I want him to realize his dreams; I would make him fight me."

This is why BJ is the best IMHO

my jiu jitsu coaches who have rolled with bj say what makes him so bad ass on the ground is that he can used his legs and feet like they are an extra pair of arms and hands, yeah hes flexible, a lot of people are, but can you use your flexibility like him???

That story reminds me of how Rickson Gracie would grapple his own black belts - all the while keeping his hands in his belt - yet still manage to submit them all.

I love how BJ looks so calm and relaxed - while Urijah looks like he's going full speed and full force. Penn is the Phenom. Can't wait for the Penn/Sherk match.

That's what you get when hand out shitty black belts.

On the subject though... yes Penn is just an amazing fighter. I love to watch him fight, and wathing him spar with people, without using headgear is also hilarious to see. He just lets them punch him in the face.

It was a joke. I don't believe anything people say about Rickson outside of what he proved in competition. Which wasn't that extraordinary.

Yeah, he's totally whack. He went rounds with Kid Yamamoto without even a mouthpiece in. His face is granite.
