Yes, I watched an interview with Sanchez, he said the same thing. Golovkin has tried for years, but it will not happen.......................I think Saunders is asking for a huge amount of money that they just can't afford to pay..................

BJS has apparently signed for the fight with GGG twice now. Including for a fight in Kazakhstan and both times it’s been pulled on him. He has that last belt and GGG has said several times about wanting to unify the division. Yet he doesn’t seem enthusiastic about jumping in the ring with Saunders.

My feeling is this that he’d only be willing to go for that last belt if it was round someone else’s waist. There’s a couple of layers to not wanting to fight Saunders, the first of which he is a trash talker who will stoop to whatever level to get under his opponents skin including allowing his kid to punch them in the nads. GGG wants no part of that kind of build up. The second reason is that Saunders is now the unofficial best 160 in the world imo, he is too fast, too slick and too elusive. Impeccable footwork, jab, angles, feints, doesn’t waste shots. He is all wrong for him. The career timing would be dreadful for GGG.

saunders best showings are against fighters golovkin beat up he didn't just beat them up he knocked the fight out of them and saunders would need to put on a complete masterclass to beat him which I can't see him doing golovkin will get him to the ropes at some point and really hurt him imo

He's going to have to put on his Lonsdale running trainers for the whole 12 rds.

I doubt in this case BJS smack talk will have any affect on GGG, given his limited English language skills.

As a counterpoint there is a video on IFL from 18 months ago in which BJS admits he will only face GGG when he gets old. When he sees signs of ageing and a decline then he faces him.

So I think both sides have reservations about this one. BJS also can’t draw flies so the A side is always going to be GGG- this makes the fight more difficult to be made.

Rumours are the Martin Murray fight had only sold 2000 tickets and was pulled not due to an injury.

Compare Golovkin's fight with Lemieux and Saunder's fight with Lemieux.....................enough said.........................Golovkin is not Lemieux.......................Murray is really angry about Saunders for the rake injury!
