I don't see how GSP was not impressive. He dominated Penn and beat him in every aspect of the fight in every round. I was shocked.

And this is from a huge BJ Penn fan.

Thing is GSP is getting better at each fight. Rogan is an ass, but he is right when he say this, GSP is always getting better.

Silva was obviously playing with Cote and really wanted to show he can carry him and then lower the boom, which he was starting to do before Cote got injured. Im not saying that you should do that as a pro but MAn, Silva is in a different league, he is in so much control of his fights that he can pretty much determine when and how he will finish the fights. Wait fo rthe rematch, Cote wont get out of the first. Even Rogan had mentioned that the way Machida trained for last night was crazy impressive when he saw him..These two right there, theyre doing something that above everyone else. Machida has never lost a round for ****s sake. And Silva has only done so because he was vulnerable to a TD.

BJs my favorite fighter but he just cant cut it at WW, he went out after the first, Fitch was hurting GSP in the middle rounds. Fitch aint a better fighter than BJ. It only says that BJ just cannot go up in weight anymore. That win over Hughes was years ago and it "may" have been a once in a lifetime kinda win and too much weight was put on it.

BJ was lucky it wasnt Alves he was fighting last night coz he really might have gotten hurt.

Fitch never hurt GSP, comon, he caught him with 2 good right hand, and thats all GSP never wobbled, nothing, he had top control for 12 second like and GSP get up to his feet.Complete domination to A to Z

GSP is one of the greatest ever, but his style is something that people can read into and can be exploited. He is such an athelic freak with his speed and strenght. He really reminds me of the prime Matt Hughes with a bit of a better standup. Ever since that Serra fight, GSP has improved I know but his stand up has regressed or have stalled. An example of a fighter pushing his boundaries is a guy like Kenflo...this guys standup is progressing at such a rate that he is scary to fight.

How his standup has regressed? He showed a great handspeed tonight, and dominated Penn on the exchange, was beating Penn to the punch always. Penn was supposed to be a better striker

My point is Yeah at least he caught him, what did BJ do? Get taken down and hit GSPs fists with his face for 3 rounds

there was a reason bj couldn't do anything and it was because last night gsp was superior in every way, stop trying to play down an immense victory:deal

Big props to GSP for executing a great game plan against a very dangerous opponent. I don't think that was the very best version of Penn though, but who's fault is that?

GSP is so much better than any version of Matt Hughes it isn't even funny.

GSP is all about being stronger than his opponent, without that he's a very average fighter.
