    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/373919-bj-penn-vs-koscheck-daley-winner-possible-for-tuf-12

After thinking about this a bit I kinda like the idea. BJ if he beats Edgar on Saturday really hasn nothing to accomplish at 155 and its going to be damn near impossible to keep him motivated. Would Tyson Griffin or a Kenny Florian rematch really challenge him ? Doubtful but thats just my IMO.

This article makes since in which in says the UFC probablly would wanna avoid GSP fighting someone with no takedown defense like Paul Daley so really make him earn that fight beating Koscheck, Hazelett, Penn and Kampmann sets up a hell of a showdown with GSP. Koscheck has takedown defense but is somewhat inconsistent and if he could pick up a win vs BJ then Koscheck vs GSP II could possibly be a very very big fight. Now on the flipside if BJ gets the winner of Kos/Daley and wins make him fight atleast 1 more contender to earn a title shot especially if its GSP whos still the Champ. In the meantime GSP still has Welterweight options like a Paulo Thiago or Fitch/Alves II winner or **** he could test out the waters at 185.

If they do this I think BJ should vacate his Lightweight title as I dont believe in holding belts hostage. Maybe Ken Flo could get there with Tyson Griffin, Gray Maynard or someone else and set up a really good fight for the vacant belt. As far as the show goes it could be very entertaining with a character like BJ Penn matching up agianst guys who arent afraid to talk a bit of **** like Koscheck or Daley. Im also hearing rumors of a 3rd BJ vs Matt Hughes fight.

I actually like the rubber match between BJ and Hughes and that fight will help him get use to the extra weight before he works his way up.

    :deal Quality post.

Penn will crush Edgar with ease. I expect Kos to beat Daley.

BJ should then vacate, and fight Kos on the same UFC bill as GSP fights either Thiago or the Fitch-Alves winner. The two winners fight for the title.

Gray Maynard fights Kenny Florian for the vacant lightweight belt.

    It's all good.

Good Plan. But I also would like to see BJ fight Hughes again at 170 before Kos

I think Kenny is a different animal now , he poses the greatest threat to BJ @55 , for me Penn has no business fighting @70 period , he's too small for them guys .

Kos is one of the most decorated acomplished wrestlers in MMA , he's a solid solid wrestler .

In the UFC you do not vacate your title , your lose your title or you keep it , contractual complications aside !!!!

I think TUF USA vs GB 2 , Kos vs Hardy is a much much better idea than Kos Penn , thats just my opinion !!!!!

Its not actually its a shockin post .......................

HTF should Penn vacate , he's the dominant fighter @55 , how has Florian or Maynard for that matter earned the right to fight for a title that they clearly have not beat Penn for ???? :huh , Florian is the outright #1 imo , demolished Guida & Gomi !!!! he gets a 2nd shot straight after Penn Edgar , its that simple .

Just like Fitch is the outright #1 @70 , they should be looking to put GSP Fitch 2 together right now , if Silva can make 70 then straight after he demolishes Maia that fight should be made (GSP) if not give him the winner of Machida Shogun 2 , providing its Shogun ofcourse , if not give him Evans Rampage winner !!!!!

You'll be suprised when Koscheck gets KO'd by Daley too !!!!

Ddude they fought in August a whole 8 months ago and BJ dominated him. How much has Kenny really improved since then ? I never said Koscheck couldnt wrestle. I said hes inconsistent this is the same guy who got knocked out by Paulo Thiago a year ago so I meant he should really have to put together a strong string of wins. Why cant a guy vacate his title if he wants to take on new challenges. Hardy vs Koscheck is a horrible idea what point would it serve ?

Florian is the only man in Penn's last 5 fights @55 to take a round off Penn , his hands have come on a lot since Penn , he has changed his whole mind set , he looks bigger at the weight too , he is off the back of 2 very dominant wins against top opposition @55 he's the #1 contender .

Anybody who wears a strap @55 without beating Penn will be seen as a joke FACT :deal

You said Koschecks take down defence is inconsitent !!!! , apologies if ive mis quoted you on that , thats the way i read it .......

Kos Hardy as a TUF show with the GB vs USA spin on it would be the best for pure enteratainment imo , and a great fight too , but i think Kos will be lucky to not be seeing stars post Daley , as you just know he will stand with him as he believes he's now a stand up fighter , huge mistake against a seasoned stand up fighter like Daley , if he shoots for 3 rounds on Daley he may take a decison but i dont think he'll do that ................

Penn hurts him on the feet then subs him :deal

Providing he's in good shape @70 he beats Kos pretty easily imo .

You misread me bro I never said Kos was a bad wrestler I meant hes somewhat inconsistent as a fighter but its all good. I think Koscheck might try and wrestle Daley he did more grappling vs Anthony Johnson who was considered to be very dangerous on his feet. Kenny took a round off BJ maybe not that was because BJ just let Kenny push him agianst the fence. It seemed like when BJ finally got tired of it he easily put Kenny on his back, passed his guard and choked him out. Noboddy will see Florian as a joke Champ without beating Penn. Guys like Penn, Silva and GSP are just amazing fighters that cant seemed to be touched at there best weights. Take Penn of Florians resume and the guy has been literally beating the **** out of everyone as you mentioned.

That is your opinion, not a fact like you think it is, Kos isn't a weight drained Diego Sanchez and BJ does not take Kos down and sub him, GSP is the only guy to ever take Kos down. Do people forget that BJ didn't even beat Matt Hughes at his fight at WW. He doesn't walk through everybody like you think he does.
