Lets say two fighters one a good operator in BJJ and the other good at wrestling.

You have never seen either fight before but they have good accomplishments in there sport.

Which fighting style do you think is better for the ground game?

Who do you favor and why?

I'd say the BJJ guy has an advantage. Wrestlers generally wrestle with other wrestlers only, whereas BJJers generally has a philosophy that encourages cross-training or sparring with fighters from other grappling and non-grappling styles. But that is slowly changing these days in the wrestling community who are opening up to other grappling styles.

Also, BJJers have the GnP option as well as submissions, whereas wrestlers generally pin or gain a superior position then GnP but no submissions.

Oh and most times it is the fighter NOT neccessarily the disipline.
