Look where Saunder`s left hand is when he jabs at 0:30, when he does that v GGG he will get countered and KO`d compared to Canelo`s guard as he jabbed v GGG, no comparison, Canelo is better defensively than both of these guys.
andy lee was a top mw when he fought him. pretty clear win with two KDs for bjs, although lee took some rounds later on. his resume is deep in the mw division, it could only get better with a fight against ggg or alvarez.
Beating Champion Andy Lee and having an underrated resume. BJS is surprising one of the slickest boxers in boxing
I have missed something did ggg beat canelo?? Oh wait no he didn't. Has bjs ever hit the deck?? If Jacobs and canelo can go 12 bjs could easily do that. Canelo is decent defensively and is one of the best counter punches out there but his feet are not great.
his feet are in concrete (alvarez), saunders has shown nothing but a granite chin. he hasnt even been stunned like canelo vs jose cotto, and jacobs getting poleaxed by pirog and dropped hard by mora.
Dear me. Riiiight. Spurious enough, but then you directly contradict yourself; For what little this triangulation is worth, I'll take Saunders' 1-6 vs. Eubank over Groves' 1-6 vs. Eubank all day. Granted, Saunders slowed down in the second half, as has been his unfortunate custom (we'll find out how effectively he's addressed this issue in due course).
Saunders hasn`t been hit with anything even close to the power GGG would hit him with and didn`t you see how Canelo kept escaping off the ropes, look how a bum like Eubank trapped Saunders on the ropes time and again.
I think BJS resume is alot better than he gets credited for tbh. Was always a Eubank Jr fan over the years but ive come to like BJS alot, especially now hes based at the Ingle gym. 16-0-0 Spike Osullivan 12-0-0 Jarrod Fletcher 18-0-0 Chris Eubank Jr 15-0-0- John Ryder 34-2-1 Andy Lee (World Champion) 22-0-0 Emanuele Blandamura 38-3-0 David Lemieux (World Champion) Thats not a bad resume to be honest. Some might argue that some of the names arent that good but he fought these guys when they were fresh and undefeated, there was no blueprint on how to beat them. He made blueprints.
You don't throw triple jabs if you are throwing power jabs. Their jabs are entirely different and serve different purposes. Golovkin's IS more accurate though and they throw them at roughly the same rate. GGG has a better jab. Golovkin also is better at parrying while he throws his jab which is something Saunders hasn't displayed so there is another dimension there that Saunders just doesn't have. As far as footwork, peak Golovkin also has better footwork. Footwork isn't just evasive movement like people try to pretend it is. It is putting yourself in the best position to accomplish whatever it is you are trying to do. This includes cutting of the ring, effective weight transfer to increase your power, and distance control. Golovkin is a master at all 3 of these and even now is better than Saunders at these three (the first doesn't matter since that isn't how Saunders fights).
Watch the vid I posted from Precise Puncher on here, the thing Saunders did differently than GGG was run around the ring.
